Hi Mariusz and welcome to the sketchbook section!
Almost all of the pics could use a bit of refining/developement i think.
But as far as im concerned the one id' really like to see "finished" or rather pushed a little further is the fifth forest (green one) i really like the color scheme there!
keep it up!![]()
Cheers.
Agreed with S.M
Work some more on that one if you can and I think it will be fantastic!
Everything is pretty good though. Keep it up!
Def agree with the guys above, dont forget to add a soft light source to help the image read better, and add some element as the focal point... either structure in ruins, or some fallen character or even some kind of fauna or flora. I hope to see this one pushed further, its a very strong base for an image. Keep posting dude ;-)
Thanks for all comments.
I planed to leave skech of the forest just like is now in the 1 post. But after your comments I must rethink it. And maybe some day I'll back to this painting. Who knows
For now I just add some paintings I made. All in traditional techniques.
This one is from 2007, oil on canvas, 100x70 cm
This one is from 2008, oil on canvas, 100x70 cm
This one is from 2008, acrylic on canvas, 100x70 cm
I wanted t do something new. Something that even suprise me LOL

Hey man! Thanks for dropping in on my sb! You've got some cool stuff on here! The first of the traditional ones is nice! (The robot with the angled arm)
Good to see you crankin' out studies as well! The height relationship between the bodyparts are a bit off.. .they seem a little dwarf-ish. The head read a bit too big in some of 'em.
I agree with the rest of the gang; do a finished piece of the green swamp!
The robots stumbling down the hall is looking interesting as well! It's cool to hide detail, but a little more suggestion on their legs might do... right now all I read is the shoulder/head area on 'em... the sketch show it a lot more clear... somewhere in between might be cool![]()

@dCepT:
Hello there!
Thanks for stopping by on my SB.
... and thanks for all the critics! This is very important to me! appreciate bro!
I though to open once again "green swamp" many times. Dunno - something always happening remains a internal blocade n m braineee... I hope you know what I ment.
Those "robots in the hall" it's abit problem for me. When I start this painting (about 1-2 years ago, don't remember precisely) I have in mind perfect image. Then I have lot of things to do not conceted with those robots... acctually, those robots should be zombie marines... hahaha... anyway always when I come backto this painting I have felling that I make a crap and shit, and image is going to be worst and worst... ehh...
I even dont know what think about lighting...
I'll rethink this painting again including your sugestions and we'll see wha happen![]()
... and here is speedpaint for today!
a bit work in progresslike earlier

love your watercolored environmentsjust keep updating man
Your studies are looking very nice! The last two digital paints are really coming along, great work![]()
The enviros are very atmospheric, i could learn from those. Anatomy needs some work, and the custom brushes in those last ones are a little too obvious. Overall it's far from bad though!
Very nice work. You already have a good grasp of values, hues and saturation, but I'd suggest to slow down a bit and focus on as few things as possible. Start with values, do some black and white studies. Add new challenges as you proceed.
I really like your enviros you posted! It seems like we both struggle with anatomy for now...keep up the practice, I know I will!
Tank you Sir
Thank you Sir
Yes, I agree. Brushes are too obvious. I just wanna practiseith somephoto refers and make things happend faster.
Thank you for you sugestion Sir. I definetlly work on black&white stuff soon.
Yeah! anatomy is very though to understand but as you wrote - practise practise and... practise, I forgot something? ahh.. practise
Here is a bit update of speedpainting I publish in post number #11, also including photo reference I use to paint this girl:
Any comments, critique or sugestions always appreciate.

Hey man! You're crankin' out new stuff! Good to seeThe last head has some anatomy issues... Seems the nose is too long, and the mouth is placed too low because of that.. Think there is some skewage goin' on as well
Flip the canvas and see.
The topless chick is coming along nicely! Keep pushing on that one. Render it out![]()

"Girl in atelier"
Painting from photo-reference.
In this practise sketch [because that what it was] most I care was to keep the feeling of the traditional media paintings. Hope I'm closer than further.
Any sugestions what kind of brushes I should use to make it better?
Here is a sketch I made for this work before I started paint.

Wow, that last painting is amazing- I was blown away. It does look quite traditional... I thought it was at first.
