I really appreciate the work in your sketchbook. I've been going through page by page from the beginning...your improvement and creativity are incredibly inspiring.
I have a question about some of your old environments... In post 39 it sounds like you are working textures overtop of photos. I'm very interested in this method (matte painting in general). Any leads on how to start?

It would seem that you are kind of evoking Dave Rapoza with these newest portraits (not necessarily a bad thing at all).
It's interesting how much texture appears in the folds and flaps of these creature's skin.
Honestly, just keep doing what you're doing and it will surely all fall into place.![]()
