Hey man, good to see you followed through with opening a sketchbook.
I like those mountains at the top, thats probably your most complete enviro at the moment imo. (Though im not an environmental artist ;o)
Ide work on tones and studying other artists methods of making nice looking environments, maybe even draw some environments from life. It'll help heaps, and try do most of your stuff on paper with no lines.. unless your using the lines for measuring or somethingIt takes away from the effect a little. But it's good to see your here and keep it up man

Hey Welcome - keep it up and draw, draw, draw - try setting aside pages to practice on and do some studies ...your hands, feet, arms, legs (if possible other people if they'll stay still long enough for a quick sketch or two!) and objects around you. Study how light falls and creates shadow from different shapes to help give 'body' to your images (the football, flag and mountains are a start - well done!)... ...but really start to look at everything 'see' what basic shapes each detail is like and how it all fits together.
I'm liking the wolves and the first pic as it shows you're 'feeling' the space and 'volume' of your image not just placing flat drawings
I look forward to seeing you post more - you got skills now let's see you nurture them!
oh yeh - enjoy, experiment and have fun!![]()

thanks i'll get more drawings up soon, i tryin to learn to draw people
also i learned alot about not drawing flat, before all my works were flat drawings, no badckgrounds, then i learned to get backgrounds by drawing far away things small and close things, big.
Nice stuff, I can't offer much advice other than these great words..
Draw, draw, draw.. Oh, and of course, draw some more. Haha.
My super duper handy sketchbook! It's kinda cool.
that sounds like alot of work
anyways some more work i did, the weapons some were rushed, the only good one is the sword that i took time to make.
and here is some plains i took 30mins to work on aswell

I know it's pencil...but it lacks contrast....could just be me...
Ninjas and their related paraphernalia pretty much rock.
Rock on...and be excellent
edited the tree pic shadow was pointing the wrong way
also shaded the second one some more
also here is an underwater drawing i did![]()

Good too see you update man, First thing you need is an extremely brief crash course in basic shading... and I'm no expert, but I did a quick paint over of what I think it needs.. Practice some object around you, If you have a lamp - turn off your lights and aim the lamp at the object. Sketch from different angles, and take at LEAST 10 minutes on each sketch... really observe the shape and contours of the object. If you don't have a lamp, just try your hardest to make some shadows cast on it. Your doing good, keep it up![]()
thanks corey
well i am starting to study the human anatomy wanna learn to draw people soon. heres a arm i was drawing.

Nice man, keep it up. draw draw draw
yea yea i know![]()
ok the little desert thing was something i did cause i was bored, really dont mean much
the weapons once again i got bored so i just drew some swords.
the person this is probably the best person i have ever done, i used pictures of real people for details then added in my own things, i took 30mins of quick sketches, and then a couple of hours of checking to make shure everything was looking right and sketching in more details, then i finished it all up....kinda, still need to add the feet![]()

The guy is looking good! Keep up the anatomy study and you'll be drawing ace figures in no timeAlso if you like drawing weapons, read up on how they work - there is quite some detail into the weight and size of all the different elements of a sword that makes that 'work' and useful, If you can incorporate them into your sketches it will look heaps better
Keep it up man
The first one was how the guy started, the second is how he finished, i'm not happy with how he finished, and i'll re-do it once i've learned more of the human anatomy and can draw rocks and stones better cause hes spose to be a stone guy

Hey! Nice to see you have some scenery, I nneed to do more scenery to improve my backgrounds. I've always hated backgrounds. Anyway, it seems you could improve on your anatomy a bit. Why don't you try studying where bodyparts are placed in accordance to other parts? It helped me a lot because it pretty easy for me to remember. You may want to purchase an anatomy book, I don't know what a good one would be the one I have is "Giovanni Civardi's Complete Guide to Drawing" which is basically a mixture of all the components of drawing (shading, anatomy, landscapes, and the steps to doing those) but I don't know how good it is when compared to other books. But you're doing well, just keep practicing and you'll be top-notch in no time!
yea atm i just downloaded some things that can help me out.
anyway here it is somewhat finished.

Nice work so far. It's nice to see you're working on studying anatomy. Your proportions are a bit off, but with a bit of work, they could turn out really good. I would suggest adding more contrast to your pictures, keeping at those anatomy studies, and adding values.
Already seeing improvement here.
yea i still got some work to do.
new update though

wanted to do something a little new a quick 10min sketch per person
Cool! It's awesome to see someone else just starting out too.
If I might - on the last one, I think it helps in practice if you draw the whole figure - with feet.
Cheers!
yea i was just drawing in with the sketchbook horizontal so didnt make much room for the feet.
anyway i am now practicing drawing women, this is the first girl i have ever drawn, and i can tell i'm gonna need work lolprob a couple of days of practicing and i will have them looking decent
Good work, its nice to see someone trying hard to get better ^^
Try drawing more of an underdrawing, figuring out of the basic shapes and structures of the person you want to draw before going to the outline. It will help your figures look more alive.
As for the girl, the things I notice most is that her hips are too thin, try comparing how wide they are compared to the shoulders. Also you seem to make your torsos too long. Keep working!
yea the waist should be by the naval. so i redid it, also drew some eyes
ok new drawing nowstill not done with it, first i'll finish up his face then add the background to it
Cool Drawing, Just a few things:
Legs look like they need to be a bit longer and have a bit more mass
Check your center of balance - It will make him look more sturdy and real.
Your doin good man![]()
yea he does look off, i think its because i draw in slanted positions dunno why its just the way i draw heres an edit with his legs,
