My Visual Development Project

Due to mounting aggravation by others, getting annoyed by my millions of threads, I have decided to make one big sketch thread with all stages of my project. This is a personal short film project of mine. The story was loosely based on the jabberwocky, but now it has taken a life of it's own.

In short, it is about a parallel world. A blind grandfather and two younger boys live at the top of a very tall tree. Below is world that the two younger boys have never seen. The grandfather is protecting them from a dwindling society run a-muck with technology. He scares the boys with tales of a monsters that walks beneath them.

The older boy takes after his grandfather and embraces the natural ways. The younger boy is curious, inventive, and craves a life beyond his sheltered existence. He creates tons of gadgets as a means to explore and modify their life (but of course goes to far).

Hope that puts it into a little more context and I hope you enjoy my updates.

Your posing is great. Your designs have a lot of life, and I love the rough texture in the painting. Your stuff reminds me of Charles Vess' work for some reason. And since I love Vess' stuff, you can be sure that you've made a new fan.
