Should I join ASFA?

I am wondering if there is anyone who is a member of ASFA?
I am thinking about joining but am not sure how I would benefit from it?
Is it like ispot, but for fantasy illustrators?

Is it good for marketing my work to potential buyers?

Please share your experience.

I had thought about joining in the past, though I was never able to find any actual good reason for doing so. Not saying there isn't one, just that I could never find it, so please share if anyone can provide one

I had considered the same a long time ago, but everytime I went there it looked always the same as before. That is, the site's content never appeared updated in the least. Subsequently, I haven't been back there in a long time. But I have heard the same complaint only just recently about ASFA. I think the only thing that has any sort of life to it there is the Chesley awards. Which do carry some weight I suppose.
