This stuff is sweeeeeeeett. Your line quality is really good. But maybe try working some darker values in those pencils, your really successful ones are where you got some good contrast going on, and a good mix of darks and lights.

Keep pushing the imaginative stuff to! dont leave it behind.
    cheers.

    Loving the studies dude!!

Great stuff, I actually prefer your looser more expressive studies to the tighter ones.

    Keep posting...

PHATandy, yeah you are right, need to darken my tones :/
lilnebo, would be great, i wont have any homework to do tomorrow, so ill be online just after school i guess
    Kambei Shimada, thank you.
sp and some shitty sketches. i really need to change something in my pencils. I feel like I need to be more careful and plan the whole picture more and definitely make it more finished.

very sketchy update today, didnt spend more than 30 mins on any of these, though I did lots of experimenting. Was fun to get back to landscapes, will make more tomorrow, only ill try to finish it more. Theres some kind of abstract thing there inspired by Mr. Brachna, was fun to do.

what grade of graphite pencil are you using? i think you should exploit the greyscale a bit more
you can block in large areas of shadow with a 4B and go over with HB to get rid of the texture
it won't be as refined as building up with HB but it will save you a lot of time for quick studies
kudos for your improvement my friend

    561 is absolutely beautiful.

I'd like to see the same attention in your self portrait.. It looks like you had really strong focus on the facial features and then didn't really care too much beyond that.. the single directional lines on the hair and neck flatten the image quite drastically.
