    Litle update.
I started draw/paint digitaly. These 2 days I been trying shapes, brushes, diferent methods of painting, most of it on fruit painting.
    So heres some examples.

And im kinda upset about mental colour picking, i done these paintings using photo references, so i used a litle colour picking tool from a photo, is that bad?
Later I'll try painting still life, so I'll avoid trying to cheat with colour pick. I'll see what what comes from that.

Please, give me advices, critics or something (especially about mental color picking thing).

    Hey there Piju!
    Really nice sketchbook here.
Great to see you practicing and studying anatomy immediately. It's still the best way to learn
About the color picking, yea, it's kinda cheating
It's still the best to try and find your own colors.
For the fruits, they're done really nice!
I like the first apple better than the second because the blending in the first is done way better than in the second. what makes it look a lot more realistic.
If you're interested, here is some info about blending and coloring in photoshop by Bumskee. It helped me a lot so here it is:

Cheers dude! and keep it up!

Hi there! You're doing great so far with the anatomical sketches. With some of your previous imaginary work, I would've liked to see a definite light source in your sketches, instead of a general-looking shading-thing going on.

I suggest on your next studies is to draw the deepest shadows first, before anything else, in a solid black or eqiuvalent shade, and work backwards (from dark to light). This exercise should help you structure your figures (I always advise people to do that! ), and give more of a dynamic prescence to your imaginary works. Good luck!

That creature design is pretty darn sweet. Actually I really enjoy your imagination, all the way from the crustacean type thangs up top.
Two suggestions, watch your proportions when doing studies. The full bodies tend to have a squashed look to them. And explore your full range of values, your darkest darks could be a bit darker.
    More creatures please...

Damn those sketches are nice. Keep working on the anatomy, legs in particular, they seem to be giving you hassle. Kick their...ass? D:

Got talent there. Keep a eye on the proportions a bit hit and miss, on some of them. Post more pics.

Well you sure took that to heart pretty quick. These are looking good. I echo Mitze's concern with the proportions but it's better than it was, which it what counts.
