Whoa, I just dived into a whole new world.
You have a strong vision. Your enviros have an unbelievable atmosphere.

The only crit would be that your humans sometimes don't look as believable as your enviros and weaken them. But I see that you're already working on that one.

So the last ones are really really stunning!!!
Can't wait to see you at ultimate power!

thanks guys, a simple character something, no thoughts behind it just kept drawing something. I´m doing most of my character studies with paper and pen so was fun doing something like this for a change. And damn I suck at characters hehe

    Nice work,

The design reminds me a bit of the Yuuzhan Vong species, from the Starwars universe...

nice forms in the figure there! wow. why is he in half? hehe.

I think the design might be more plausible if he had a mechanical jaw perhaps, and MAYBE drop the penis, but hell........it really sells the piece sir. Try and give us more hints as to what this guy does in the world he is in through his costume...thats what I'm going to attempt with my recent sketches! Which I need opinions on....so stop by the ol SB!

Aye! You've gotten a hel lot better man! You still got the very original colour schemes which I always admired but on top of that you're overall skill has gotten a lot more proffesional. Really pro stuff your showing. One tip on that girl in the wheelchair. She kinda lacks some emphasize and the main focus kinda lies at the wall due to the high amount of crisp textures. So you might wanna detail the girl's face just a tad more. But yea that's just some minor thought. Overall stunning job!

Hey there Robin! Sure miss your kick ass concepts over at Eclipse, but I'm sure you're busy with real work. Saw that you posted in the portfolio review thread and thought I'd say hi. I actually took some time off from Eclipse to start putting together a portfolio myself, then Ron asked if I wanted to be a lead...and we only have like 2 concept artists, lol, you know how it is. Anyway, I'm balancing work, the mod, and trying to put a friggin folio together!

Hopefully I'll be able to see your folio crit, mine will be brutal I'm sure.

    Man, your artwork is amazing.
You do have to practice the human figure to match your skills on doing background.
Not because you aren't good doing characters (in fact you are very good) but because you are INSANE doing backgrounds! Superb work.
I must say you have a very powerful imagination, your artwork is very rich in details and original elements.
Its not just regular folks in some futuristic environment, they are unique characters on bizarrely cool locations.
    Great job.
    Totally 5 stars

Holy Crap! This is the same dude I critiqued 2 years ago! Your insane! I get hypnotized by your environments! So much envy, m... mu... mussSst control myself!

Nah seriously, so Good! I love how your environments pull you in, I get lost in them. They remind me of those cross section cut away books I looked at as a kid for hours.

Makes me want to start posting here again. Looking at your book has be a major kick in the ass! Thanks!

Amazing, amazing stuff. I really needed a pick me up because lately I find art school VERY frustrating (as in, not being able to paint what I really desire) and this entire thread has made my brain into mush with all the jaw dropping work.

Your enviornments, right off the bat, are professional and the textures, atmosphere, arghhh, all of it all together is just perfect. I love them! Such a great inspiration for a aspiring enviornment artist. Do you often use photo references or 3d programs to block out your work? And painter or photoshop? I'm just curious as to how you got those beautiful textures!

Great sketchbook, though. Five stars, def.
