hey kingkostas, thank you so much for the feedback on my work in progress. I actually clicked on page 1 of your sketchbook and was going to give you some helpful advice, but you don't need it ;P
Beautiful progression in your work ! It's really great to watch. And I love how you put your work in progress stuff up here as well. It's like giving me a glimpse into the way you think. It's really great.

Hi mate, thanks for visiting again. Every time you drop by the old sketchbook is a massive motivator.
What you are explaining in your latest post is something I too try and consider more an more. Whatever the subject matter is, how you portray light is what will make the piece.
Oh yeah, love the industrial stuff you're making lately.
    Keep it up man.

Hey King' ;D ! So I think I'll go for some shape hunting by watching around sometimes and leaving my mind see whatever he wants ^^

Cool stuff Mate ! I'm always impressed by the way you are capable of rendering light and volumes on shapes !

Can't Wait to see the next update!!

Based on these images methinks you'd do a bad ass scorpion from Mortal Kombat (or just about any of the characters for that matter). Great work man.

whaaaa... such lovely forms as always king. the post about random design in #3565 was really informative. i can see it as an approach for a jump-start to designing something if you feel you don't have a solid plan. but i think the overall emphasis is on readable form and the importance of values as you mentioned... which prompts me to do more investigations and studies of value and form. gaaaahhh! so much to do

looking forward to the next update

will123will-haha lol mate, we are all good as long as we keep up, so lets both keep up !!!
MadGrav-Thank you very much mate!! Thats encouraging
phiq-Thankiees mate !!! glad you like them
cumquat-ehhe thats good to hear mate , although i will keep working hard to improve. I am glad you like them, however i am still in a tight period so i havent done much work in progress stuff etc. But very soon
NickyBeats-ahahha man, thanks for digging that out . Well i suppose i could do a better looking character saying the same thing now . Hahah i always trying to make my sketches pushing me more hahaah. Thanks for checking it out mate
Rotor-Hey mate no problem man, thank you very much , you are doing great, we have to keep up . Yeah it seems like it, sometime i will try the research a little more by using reality images, so that i can focus more on thinking rather than rendering a random form.
zou-Yooo mate thanks very much, also dont think i am not doing the exercises, i already did the body language but when i am studying i am making things rough because i try to get the essence. Thanks very much for lots!!!
~KJK~-Parsaaaa!!! Thanks mate!! I have skype, its hmmm kingkostasart, kostas art ahhaha never exactly remember it, but try to find something like that and being from greece and it will be me. In case this doesnt work tell me your name so that i can add you . I am very glad to see you back, and you are doing some really interesting pieces!!!
Izzual-Izzzz !!! Love your enthousiasm , you will improve in no time.Shapes doesnt necesarrily need to represent something to be used, keep that in mind. If i take a random[mostly negative] shape i see now in the void between two objects next to me, i can drop it inside a composition and somehow i can use it. I am telling you this so that you dont lose the loose use of this aspect. But focus more on values and all this knowledge will fit lovely like a good puzzle. Thanks very much !!!
Juniversal-heeheh thank you very much mate . I havent done any fan art, i maybe need to do sometime.
teapo-Mike thank you very much mate!!! Yeah do the invenstigation. Values are really important.Hahaha yep so much, but maybe it make things less boring

Ok mates first thanks so much for supporting that much even when i am absent.
Unfortunately these days i had a lot of work and the free time was going to non art stuff. Also i got a fever and got me down.
Also some very encouraging stuff happened. I got featured in http://theroundtablet.com/tag/konstantinos-skenteridis/ in the inspiration category and also in http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb...levant_count=1 and that made me very very happy and was encouraging. Also it was a good proof that we have found what was missing back then and was added to that piece that made it look finished [it was details -myth busted- lol ]

Ok here something just to show signs of life. Also i had visited the critique section the past days, and did some paintovers, and also found that the guys have organized an awesome collective of paintovers, so maybe you want to go check it out !!!

LETS ALL KEEP UP!!! good night

Kingkostas – thank you for the support on my sketchbook! Your comments are most appreciated.

Sorry for stalking your sketchbook all day; i've been going through it whilst at work all day. So far on page 90, it's like eating too much chocolate cake, it's really good, but too much in one go will make you feel sick! (that's a compliment btw) \o/

Wow Mate the second environment and the creature are great ! I really appreciate the fact that you are pushing more details in your stuff because both of them look "polished" and finished, by the way you have captured a gecko/lizard expression for your little guy, he looks to be existing ! ;D

Keep the great work up King' !
