will123will-Thank you very much mate!! Glad you like that, i was quite happy with it !!!
NickyBeats-hahaah thanks very much mate!!! Lets keep upppp!!!
lionheartGFX-eheheheh thank you very much, nooo i always wanted mages with something like that, they look badass in their infuncionality hahaha . So design wise you are right, its just a personal thingie
teapo-Yooo mate. Well there is not something to get confused. By doing directly color you are silmultaneously managing values and color, you decide how dark or light is a color at a certain area. I am not that fixated on something i always like to experiment, but usually my personal way is to duplicate the greyscale and use "gradient map" on it, then i search the modes and find what i like. When i have something certain in my mind i may go more straight with some color mode overlay for basic colors and from there keep coloring the elements. When the big/generic colors are placed you can then keep working on them later. The problems are mostly in the values [especially since in reality and in photographic scenes everything is kinda neutral and not super saturated]
Izzual-Thankkiees very much mate!!! I think you are right, its probably because they are very horizontal.Have to be more careful
zou-Thank you very much mate!!! I see, thats an issue. But i am not sure if i will change it, i have to work on the mage when i get the time, and keep up the training .
M.Calza-Thank you very much mate!!! I am glad, i will try to make them better

Ok mates, didnt have time for personal stuff today, so here only this good night speed

Good nightssss and thanks for supporting!!!!! lets all keep up!!!

sweet designs bro, the black and whites are too washed out, bring the values out more, they even seem a bit blurry to me, maybe its just me and my old eyes.

Izzual-Thanks very much mate . These still need some experiments but unfortunately still dont have the right time. Although soon enough, i also dont like doing only these good night ones, i wanna try a lot of things now, i have figured out the detail thing now there is another challenge awaiting me and i have to identify her.
V3T-Thank you very much mate !!!
Danny_K-hehehe thank you very much mate, well not old eyes. I actually did these intentionally both the wash out and the blurriness. I was playing with gaussian blur although in the certain work i overused it
Biomecha_wolf-Yooo pou se re kab, thanks very much !!! I would like to render it more but i cant now, however i will definitely do more vehicles to fill that part of the portfolio
KromNz-Thanks very much mate , your improvement is also really great!!!

ok mates i want to thank you all for keep supporting even if i only post these good night ones. I definitely want to do more stuff but i have to finish some work stuff that need more work. Lets keep up!!!

Hey mate ! Don't worry about the time ^^, you're working really hard and that's the most important ! Moreover, your "good night speeds" are great ! I hope soon you'll have more time to experiment new stuff !
About the new challenge that is awaiting you, I think it'll find you in time, you know, the detail thing came when you were heading on working on "more finished illustrations", so the next challenge will appear very soon, it just depends on where you are going with your art. Who knows, maybe by making more mech stuff for your portfolio you'll find that something is missing with them, and that'll be the next challenge ;D !

    Keep it up King' !

Izzual-Yo izz thank you very much mate !!! I am close to find something more, i will share more info on the research soon. Maybe to help , try to take a photo , an artwork or something else and crop just a tiny tiny portion of it and zoom it up as a full painting, [so tiny that it becomes mostly abstract], and post it up so that we can check if there is composition hints in the randomness of a crop, and if something will look pleasing we will have to find the why
Giorge-Giorge , thank you very much mate!!!

    veshkau- Thanks very much mate
takashmen-Yoo mate thats encouraging thank you very much !!!
izzual-Mate thanks for taking part in it . Btw sorry, a friend came with some free days from army and i am getting out at my free time. However i will try to keep it up, i am also getting about an infinite number of blue screens of death , i think the usb ports are having a problem. I will work on the mage because i want to make it somehow as detailed as the exotic humanoid character i did before. Anyway on the research. This blown up images contain information, valueable . They provide shapes, and since everything is shape, they provide an abstract idea [without even being the initial image itself]. So i already see some images in them. The first one could suggest some snowy mountains, or a wavy sea[if the photo was from a sea then our brain will see that because of that certain shape formation we understand it as a sea[so we could later use this formation when we do a sea], it could even envolve to be a character. Even more abstractly, we could see them as abstract horizontal shapes with some white accents, that suggest a composition. Same happens in the second image. Maybe thats a hill with villages down there in the depth and a dark sky above. More abstractly learn to analyze it more and more. In the concept of FIGURE-GROUND [google it for more info ] we could keep altering what we see as figure and ground and come up with 2 different ideas inside a single picture. For example, can you imagine, in the first image, the white as being a background and the blue and darks as being some rocky hills or something? Also one more thing we can do, is turning it horizontaly and verticaly or 90o or whatever. These things contain lots of information to play with and maybe add a natural randomness in some of our works if needed , or working a piece directly on them, or doing whatever else we can come up with.
also in case of fulfilment, does this blown up images look finished to you? if yes why? maybe because they are detailed? [you know even the artifacts of the blown up image are details to the eye].

Sorry for no updates, soon i will do something
    laterrrr

These days my free time is non-art used, but my researchwork and thoughts are always running. However soon i will be back to the normal

Now its been some time since i started this kind of research. If you check some of my previous pages you will find me mentioning something about the importance of doing random things.
Anyway here i am gonna organize it some more with additional experiments to find some info.
I am gonna share these, hopefully these will offer some brainstorming
i could already say that the result is somehow predicable but thats the frustrating thing.

    Lets all keep up mates!!!!

    Hey King' !

NOOOOO NOT THE BLUE SCREENS OF DEATH !

About the composition in tiny images, I would say that I easily see different "finished" scenes, yes maybe because of the "detailed" aspect, (Thank to you I read some articles about Figure Ground and learned some things ^^), actually that is very interessting and inspirational for imagining cool compositions and full scenes, It could be even be a strong tool when you don't have an idea about what to do or to get some originality in your art ! It definitely could be a start point for creating new stuff

I like your explanations about the random aspect that forms can have, you know what, your last sketch directly reminded me the design of the monsters from Quake II, you just have to add some cyborg stuff and it's okay ^^ (oooh, my childhood old pixels ), I'm curious about what kind of things you will get from randomness next time

Thanks for exploring the extraordinary world of art and bringing us back some stuff

yoooooooo izz !!! Thanks very much mate. Yep thats it, the fact that we can extract info from such tiny areas blown up is very important. We must not forget that we are creative minds. We must make the best out of our tools. Try watching negative and positive shapes in the stuff around you, i am sure you can find tons of interesting shapes.
Ok i did some more random stuff for the research. Its really interesting, but also no wonder somehow. Just try to imagine something... lets say that suddenly next to you appears a abstract, organic, random whatever fucked up 3d form [wtf even 2d would do] and you photograph it [so i mean realistically depicting its form under the effect of a lightsource], it will look good and pleasing because of the reality in the rendering rather than its connection to reality[ if it functions or whatever].
Ok lets see, here a random encounter appears !!! [mostly the random encounter 2, the other one i somehow blowned it up and it doesnt have the needed realism to it to support its randomness]

    Have a good night bb
