yoooo everyone whats up!!!! You are all evolving quickly!!!! I am back home for some days to see the family and then i am going back down.
I am in the greek army of Cyprus and the training covers the most hours of the day, but i try to sketch something in some really small assbooks but not that much, and i didnt carry them with me to scan them. I hope that after 2 more months, things will be looser and i will be able to do more things, but right now, there is no free time other than sleep time. I still have 6-7 months till the end of the service so i will be patient and gather as much experience as i can.

Thank you all very much for supporting me even when i am absent like that. There are a lot of things i want to do when i come back and i cant wait to draw 2312893129381 hours a day. Now i have to relax my body for some days and keep up the service.
I picked the tablet and did something quick here and there.
i know there are the same mistakes in these but consider them more as expressive works to feed my need to draw something hehehehe

Lets all keep up learning things!!!! miss you all.

these pieces definitely pass as 'expressive' works as you mentioned. 6-7 more months to go?? aahh.. well i'm sure you are picking up a lot of inspiration on your training AND some good reference to incorporate into your works so you are still learning either way in/out of drawing. knowing you barely have the time to post, i'm already going to miss updates D':

okay-- stay strong and good luck bro!

    Beautiful work Kostas!
Good to hear you're not completely cut off from your art. I especially like the environments here, really nice texture on the rock in the first image.

Looking forward to your next update, whenever that may be!

Always surprises me which countries still have mandatory military service.
    Good luck with your training.

Boosting the saturation of a photo is an interesting approach that's never occurred to me before, will have to try it.
The desert enviro is sick, the rock face is totally solid and so is the ground. I think rendering a convincing floor surface in a natural environment is one of those things that are taken for granted but are actually quite difficult.

    Random shittttts

Mates thank you all very much. Still things are tight here because we are still having training, but soon (near the end of february) things will get a lot looser cause newbies are getting in for training and we are simply doing service, so we have more time.
For now i just want to try something on the days i will have some hours out of the camp.
I will draw some random bullshit stuff with the mouse in some online broswer paint programms.

Thats for now. thank you all for the support!!!

Reme 20 months are to much mate, hope you find a rythm to pass them easier psycologicaly.

Of course i am sorry for not commenting separately but after i finish with army i will come back and comment and crit to everyone.

    See ya mates

( here the link of the online painter http://www.onemotion.com/flash/sketch-paint/ )

there might be better ones, i just randomly googled online paint

EDIT: found an interesting flash painting application

Dude it's nice, that you get some time to paint and practice, even in the army. Gladly, I'm off the hook from army stuff, but here in vodkaland you wouldn't have that chance.
