I've been lurking in this site for a while, too busy with stop motion (my job) to draw. Which makes me sad. Then I saw your sketchbook and I just fell in love with your style and its sensitivity. So when you say now and then how bad you are or what not - I just have to comment:
Your stuff is lovely and touching. There is always so much to be learnt from others, but there is no single way to look at things. If it doesn't inspire you, don't let it slow you down!

Apprentice zinnfandel: Thank you so much for this wonderful comment! Sometimes I get really down on my stuff- I try to judge how I'm doing by the feedback I get on sites like this one or on deviantart, and generally I feel pretty invisible. Sometimes it can feel like my stuff is so bad it's not even worth criticizing. But I probably just take it too hard- I know that people shouldn't judge their ability by how many favs they get on deviantart!Still, it always gives me a big boost when I hear that someone really does like my style and the work I'm doing.
f1x: Thank you very much! Actually I don't have a talent at all for compositions- it's one of my weakest points- but I've been working really hard on studying and improving my compositions. So it's really really awesome to hear you say that!
Hadn't posted in awhile- finally finished my picture of Blodeuwedd that I'd been working on for forever; also a sketch of mermaid/siren picture and some fanart from The Hunger Games.
