    Thumbs up VERY cool!

You've got natural talent, combined with obvious ambition, you sir, have a bright future ahead of you. Keep it up man. I love the way you bounce around in your topics, not just focusing on the same ol' thing! (nice bike)

Cool troll / zombie stuff man, nice colors on the troll. Love the bears too, but the first one is a little bit weird I think. The head is not so "blocky" and it has a thick tail .

Post #385 is great too. And what about the girl from post #380. Are you going to work it further out?

    Have fun mate .

Hey man, very nice sketchbook (and holy shit, a lot of stuff). Great progress!
Your characters have a lot of weight, very well! Will you work on the zombie above? Please, work him out! I like the contrast in the bears. Maybe work on them as well?

I'll check back, keep it up!

JailHouseRock2- haha sup Matt, drawings getting to fun its hard to slow down! Its crazy about the stuff from mind when I first joined concept art I couldn't draw anything from my head. I pretty much just copied alot, the mind stuff is getting a bit easier though since I started this sketchbook I had one goal in mind to improve my imagination drawings. Thanks for dropin by man!

so my house holds been kinda rough latley we havnt had running water for a couple of weeks, been livin off bottle water familys kinda on the down slope of the economy. I guess the good part is its really making me enjoy the simple things in life I used to take for granted. Been doing alot more art to since its been to cold outside to ride my bike.

aside from that today was pretty productive id say
havnt done a still life in photoshop in such a long time it was really fun
got a letter in the mail today from my old teacher he got his cd out. It looks bad, really wish I spent more time on it. He liked it though so I guess thats all that matters.

The old masters were able to create aww inspring pictures even to this day still inspire, and thats what i want to do. let the journey begin I have alot of studying to get to.

Great looking stuff you got here man! I'm especially enjoying your studies and variety of materials. Your last post with the dragon and the girl, the girl's torso seems a bit long. Her upper legs/thighs seem to be pushing into the page, but it's a bit hard to tell that at the moment. Also, her left index finger seems to be coming out of the side of her hand (where her thumb is). The piece has a lot of potential so I hope you'll bring it to a finish at some point. Will be back!

Nice still life, the bold green works well for it. You have a good eye for colour, you know that? As for the girl with dragon pic, i like the rendering, especially the creature's head, but i'd strongly advise you to get some reference for the girl's pose, which is a very tricky one. It's a personal opinion, but i wonder what it'd do for the pic if the lower body was turned a quarter, so she'd be lying on the side of her hip. Like i said, try plowing the net for some reference, you'll be making things a lot easier on yourself.

zhonked-hey thanks for the point outs man sometimes I get blinded by my faults, its always nice hearing what I need to work on. Theres really so much wonky stuff going on with that peice, I need to stop diving into rendering so fast all the time and work out my proportaions and stuff. Ill try and stick with it though and take it to finish. Thanks for droping by man!

walnut-Haha think im good at color? I think im pretty crappy at it to be honest guess its getting better over time though. Yeah refrence, its really another one of the things im not good at, like trying to balence your peice with refrence and imagination its hard. Ill deffenatly look around for some ref though the feet and legs are killing me. I dove into rendering way to fast one of my biggest mistakes im seeing. Thanks for the drop by dude! your sketchbooks badass.

AlexTooth-Hey sup Alex thanks man! I do need to work on more enviroments and finishing up more work.

The life study looks really great. The rendering is nice smooth and complete.Thats the feeling you must give to the illustration with the woman and the dragon. Now it still look strange, with outlines here and there and such. But keep working it, you will earn a lot of exp ahh + the bonus experience from your concept art work.
    Gratz.Keep going

I agree...always crazy seeing your old work and the progression you've made. I made a post in my SB (can't remember the page) where I remade a character I had drawn exactly a year ago from that time. It's a good thing to do when you feel like you're not getting anywhere and then you realize you are...slowly but surely Keep it up man!
