Hi and welcome to CA , Khakibin !
Nice first post and studying. I want more![]()
good start, ur anatomy looks good, ur hands to. But u need to pratice more on the faces
post some more stuff! And where is the unversity of art?
wholecar - thanks
Grafguy - yeah, faces are my nightmare, I soo need to work on them....and the university is nothing special (in international status), but its the only one in my town and country region.....
Some new studies...more or less. I really have a problem drawing small eyes...so I always re-draw them bigger next to the pic, but still...not sure if that will help me learn drawing them

Im so mad right nowI have absolutely no time for drawing, and if I have, its usually late evening, which means Im tired, not focusing and my mind is flating somewhere else....
Ahh, this was produced last night....my eyes still hurt from staring into the PC screen :/

Ive been slacking in drawings recently.....so no improvement at all, I still suck![]()

your work is good, if u keep on working hard like this i am sure u will make it to the college. but your faces specially eyes looks a bit unnatural. i think u should pay more attention to faces. try andrew loomis its good book. shading is good but needs to work more. keep on working this way. all the best.
Hi,
I like it so much. REALY. i also want to the art school in the netherlands. ive studied the old masters of art to. i've realy learnd to look more at wat i must draw but you learn mutch more from photographs. you gan give it your own style. i'm drawing from these pictures
hendrikkerstens![]()
it is from a dutch photographer wo is working in the old style of vermeer etc. works for me. but youre realy good and talented so you could easy to go to university of art. well. this just some tips. not that i know evrything better. much luck. maybe you have some tips for me?
sebastian
me_art_and_animation - thanks, you are the 3rd person who in the last few days suggested Loomis books for me. I guess I really should kick my lazy butt and start to study them!
sebastian_H - thanks, although I dont think I have any chance of getting accepted, but I might aswell tryThe competition here is really tough since we have very few Art Unis (3, if I am correct) for the whole country, but thanks, I will try and practice more
Duuude! I really like those masterstudies o.o. Sweet lines... Also your anatomy is coming along great! Keep at it, it's the right way !!![]()
Autumnal Dream - thanks, though I still dont think Im confident enough (especially in the next step...after the sketch that is)
------------
Few bad sketches and studies.....from mid august IIRC
And now this is after I studied (aand still studying) Loomis´ book about drawing heads.
You decide if the slight improvement is there or not....(I hope there is, but i see none to be honest)
Well, I was bored and there was this empty coffee mug on my table....so I though I should give it a try (heck, I will have to start to dig into these kind of studies too, so why to avoid them?)
this is still a wip though
I found this old note of mine.....and started to do some quick studies (all references from artrenewal.org)
all are format A5 and ballpen
Continuing in the previous style - couple of quick studies, again with references
Think those studies are really great! If you keep going, you will finally get where you want to be!You definitely have a talent, a good eye and a good hand so if you keep practice you really will make it! Just don't give up!
[ sorry that I'm not able to say something more professional, but I'm still learning myself!![]()
]
More studies, I started to focus more on eyes itself (and am planning to continue with the rest o facial features...so hopefully I will finally to draw the damn faces...)
And also focusing now on the overall proportions and feet...
Aand I really should start to build my portfolio for the University...![]()
Hey, you're putting a lot of work into this! They're very nice studies, and I particularly like the eyes in your last post.
Thanks for posting on my sketchbook and welcoming me to CA.
Nice job.
My path to improvement: a.k.a, my lame sketchbook.
Few more studies.....I should apply asap to he academy, better not miss he deadline...*sigh*
I got this awesome book from library called "Wir zeichen den Mensch"....too bad its in German (which is not my strong part), but the studies and reff pics are great, I really suggest this book!
Great studies in here friend! You should pay more attention to construction and proportion. You get sloppy in some areas. Other than that just keep going!
