Another one before bed I don't like baby hands they 're too pudgy!! but in the name of art I had to paint it. I don't like how this came out but I'm tired so I'm forgiving myself for this. Number 9 from "Jeune fille se defendant contre lamour"
Gloominati: Muwahahahahaha!! and thanks!!
great sketchbook, the hand studies are really awsome, i should do some hand studies (god knows i need it)

Really really nice work. re all these pieces part of a study series already set up or have you chosen them randomly. Can't wait for the full body stuffz.

Hey dude, great stuff. I'm really diggin the last couple posts with the hand studies, they have a great natural feel to them. I like the subtler, softer ones too, it seems like it would be harder to make those feel right than hands with a lot more edges adn contrast.
I like that index finger

last one is outstanding. I can almost feel the paint through the monitor. It's always stunning for me how dudes like you can achieve this traditional look using digital media!

Last one (the mystery 3-fingered hand) - looking good, I like the textures

really liking this SB so far, especially the Tony Stark piece, the reworking made it even better. After seeing that movie it totally inspired me to go do some Iron Man artwork aswell
looks much you like Joaquín Sorolla
Good work...Like the rework you did of Tony Stark.
"Good composition is sort of like pornography. You know it when you see it. "
Whoa, you're like a master of skin tones. Any real trick to it? Probably nothing other than practice (damn cheap way eludes me again, or maybe it's a law of the universe)
Please give erudite, constructive critiques or give none at all.

Hey Brashen![]()
Nice updates - like the ironman (and why not rework doodles)
about the 3-fingers.. I know, it got labelled the mystery hand after
another cg-guy did a version and had been staring at it looking for the 4th finger
trying to work it outObscurity can add dynamics

First one was for a free online RPG that a friend of mine was working on but never got to finish and the second one is because drawing cartoons I find really loosens up the senses and helps to bring you back to reality dont ask me why!!
wow4
i love how you get that old look affect
The mysteries that lie in the mountain are not for the mind of a mortal
Pretty awesome hands! Chubby, bony, relaxed, tense - You've got the whole catalog down. I wonder what you'd do with feet...?
