    Aragah: Thanks man!
SamC: Thanks a lot dude, same to you!
TFsean: Thanks, you're right about that Sargent piece!
kingkostas: Thanks a lot man, really glad you like them! Being done with the army is awesome!
Sebastian Gromann: Coming right up (although a little bit later than intended)!
    DStraX: Thanks man!
Bill: I'm still here, just been busy with other stuff!
    Fenrirsgrowl: Thanks a lot!

Sorry about the way too long absence.
Finished my obligatory service in the army, which feels great, and started studying archtiecture, which has been busy! I know I always say this, but I'll try to post more regularly again!
Here's some pencil/pen stuff from the last couple of months.

Cool update. Just do some clean line practices to get rid of the insecure lines and you'll be super good. You certainly know what you're doing anatomy-wise. Hvor studerer du arkitektur btw? AHO?

Awesome sketchbook mate! i really like the ChoW concept you are showing in particular i find the first and the second the more interesting cause to me seems like she has wings or an aura emanating from her made by the natural elements in the background, can't wait to see the finished version!

I looked through most of your sketchbook and it's nice to see the improvement from page 1 although I feel you could have learned more in that period but I shouldn't be the one to talk since at the end of the month it'll be a year since I started drawing constantly again and I can't say I learned much.

The sketches with the pencil and ballpoint if I'm not mistaking are really cool and you sure have a knack for sexy eyes.
I'll have to subscribe to your thread since there's some really juicy stuff here with each post.Keep focus on it,you'll get there sooner than you think!

Nice paintings! I hope you finish one or more of them. Here are a few thoughts:

    1) Nice strong and bold shapes. Her pose doesn't feel that grounded though, and the negative shapes of white under her cape are not doing much for me--they are too blobby and symmetrical.
    2) I like the composition in this, again, very nice solid shapes. My main issue is I'm not sure what she's doing...staring at the ground for no reason apparently. Her torso and legs are a bit small for her head and arms too. Liking the colours too.
    3) The background in this one is awesome, but the figure...isn't cutting it. Her pose is really unnatural and off balance, and the proportions seem strange as well. Her straight arm is also at an angle that is parallel to the mountain slope behind her creating this uncomfortable awkward pseudo-tangent.
    4) I really like the more subtle approach here, and the perspective of looking down at the legs. At the moment she feels a little armless, so maybe have an arm or hand showing more. This one is really dependent of her face, so you gotta make sure that it is really good. Maybe try pushing it more--either the expression or her face itself (make her more beautiful, or more warrior-like, or whatever).

I don't like #1, but #2,3,4 are really strong. Like Andrew Sonea said, 3 has a really awesome background but the pose is no good. I would go for 3 with a better worked out pose, or 2 which is pretty sweet right now. Even the figure from #2 would like awesome on #3's background (if you took off the 'wings') AWESOME work as usual

Andrea Tarroni: Thanks man! I think the aura is an interesting element too, definitely!
Kriss_Kringle: You're so right, I definitely could've learnt a lot more when starting out. Over the (soon to be) past five years since I started this sketchbook, I've had times where I'll be really dedicated and try to do a lot of studies, but then some sort of distraction comes along, and I'll just stop, not doing anything art related for a long time. At least not anything structured. I think this has really hindered my progress over the years. I can't blame anyone but myself though, and even if I'm not pursuing a concept art career anymore, I still really enjoy drawing. The progress doesn't come as fast as if I'd be doing it all the time everyday, but it's still a really important thing for me!
They're actually mostly ballpen lately. Thanks a lot for the support!
Andrew Sonea: Your crits are spot on man, thanks! I'll definitely try to get around to revisiting these soon.
kingkostas: Haha, I feel the exact same thing looking at your sketchbook! Thanks a lot man!
Monsieur-Beefy: Thanks man, I'll have a look at it!
Jovian M: Thanks a lot for the support man. That's awesome to hear!
kevn_: I hope so, haha. Thanks man!
    Natzetta: Thanks a lot!
    Hearthling: Thanks a lot!
Aragah: Thanks! Sorry for the way too long delay man!

Here's a random assortment of stuff from September until now. It's a mix of stuff done for my Architecture class, and just mindless sketching. Some of this is already on my blog, and has been for a while, while some is from a recent project. The wide pencil drawings of a landscape from above, and the facade of a triangle-house are done on A2 paper, which is really large, compared to what I'm used to. Felt really nice to try something new like that.

I'm really sorry about the long delay between posts. I say I'll try to post more often each time, so I won't promise anything this time, haha.

    Hope you enjoy!

The arch stuff is really interesting. Glad to see though that it hasn't made you miss a step with your figures. Great lines as always!

Try to avoid splitting your canvas in half, which is what you seem to be doing composition-wise in some of those environment sketches.

love them mate, powerful stuff. I cant crit anything on these, maybe focus your powers under a project-like random thing, to art-direct yourself and produce some pieces under a same story or something.
    Keep up the great work!!!
