My first still since, iono..sixth grade?
Sorry for the bad photo quality.
I really want to take a figure drawing class soon, I hear it helps someone out a lot.
All I have is posemaniacs to practice with.
I think those are 15 second pose things or something.
Lemme know if my attachments are too big. I'll resize.

Did you use a reference? That helps a lot. Find a good atelier, sure. Nice sketch lines on the cup.

What happened to the sketchy horny guy? Did you finish painting it?
Kay, just gotta say, best description ever Ronald Liu! The sketchy, horny guy, makes him sound like some creepy pedophile.
But anyway, really like the horned guy. The profile is perfect, though watch the shading on the lips. One parts makes it look like he has a swollen lip. The horns are okay, though they could use some more curve. Love to see more!

Ink pieces for my AP 2d design class thing.
I like my eye and patience for detail, but what I don't like is how I tend to go overboard with it and make my piece look cluttered and alskdjfsd.
Currently trying to work on that.
Crits on how I can do better in my future pieces?

Went to Barnes and Noble with daaaad, and saw one of those brown sketchbooks.
I wanted one, just to abuse white charcoal/pencil.
Skipped the front page for reasons I just don't understand, and drew a..satyr head.
I suck at drawing the other eye.
Any tips for an angle like this one?

this recent one:
I wouldn't worry about getting the whole shape of the eye you would normally see at a full frontal. don't like the eye overlap the shape of the face on that side, like it jutting out weird. Part of the eye is usually kinda hidden by the nose but it depends on how set back the eyes are.
Its a good sketch so far, just try something![]()
The assignment with the orange color:
You have a pretty good balance with detail. Remember to give it some negative or white space with 2D design. The sharp feathers give it kind of an aggressive feel - dunno if that was your intention.

i like the cluttered overdone design look!
its pretty easy to find reference for that angle on an eye, just look around at photographs, and the work of others.
nice start!
'Any tips for an angle like this one?'
Photos, friends or a mirror. Some other good advice on drawing heads can be found in some of the old Andrew Loomis books. I got all the PDF online years ago.
Anyway, good solid start to a SB, Really like the detailed pic with the orange circle. The simple one figure composition lets you get away with adding all the patterns and details. Plus, the inkwork is quite strong and well done.

My first digital..still life thing. an ink bottle right next to my monitor. Zooming in with that bright white background totally changed how the topside of the bottle looked. so I worked with it zoomed out.
Doesn't excuse me from the fact that I need serious help.
Somebody? ;;

Keep at it! This is some really promising stuff. Just keep posting, keep sketching. There really is somethign to be said for your attention to detail though, those design pieces look excellent. As far as digital painting goes, and I don't claim to be an expert, but just remember, don't assume, that because your brain tells you something is gray, it actually is gray, really look at what you're painting, and use references if you're painting from imagination. There is color in everything. Even gray bottles of ink.
Your work looks really nice so far, keep it up!

16!! thats awesome man. just keep working at it. great stuff
Awesome details for your design class assignments! And YAY another horny guy. 3/4 this time![]()
Hey! with those white pencils, give the highlight a really hard line. It'll really top it off. Use that paper and draw from life, trying to isolate the white. It's fun.
Yeah and being horny is all good too.
Typical Sketchbook pages out of my 11x14 book that's already falling apart after only 2 months of owning it. x_x

Got my sketchbook back from Art Center. I got accepted for a scholarship at saturday high. ;D I chose entertainment design. yeah.
My boyfriend picked my stuff up, which means I got my beloved sketchbook back. |D
Looking through it again really makes me wonder why they accepted me.
I think I'm having one of those weeks. Those "i'll never get to art center. ;_;"
"i'm doing this, but i'm not learning fast enough."
"FUCK WHY CAN'T I GET THIS RIGHT"
I think it's just sleep deprivation. I'm gonna get my well deserved after-AP exam sleep now. lol
[and I know the chick with the LEGS EVERYWHERE is wrong. xD
I'm looking into how the legs would fit and actually function {if they can} right now]
