I sent e-beef's wrong file by mistake and instead delivered the version previous to the actual final. I just wanted to show the real version if I hadn't fucked up. I know its too late but I just wanted to share.

So many great pics cannot even begin to name them. Everytime i look over the threads i find a new favourite i missed.
For the guys in my round 14 or 15 i knew i was going to get beat i just hoped it was'nt going to be as bad as it was.
Good luck
First impressions...Great job, Everybody!
I'm thankful that round 20 held its own with two great entries from Hurricane and Arttorney, and that I didn't embarrass myself as much as usual, but wish we hadn't had two pussouts.
And Cody...if there is an award of some kind somewhere in the universe that is appropriate for the amazing amount of work you put into this event, I'll find the bastard and ship it to you. Sir, I bow before your greatness.
One thing I am impressed by is the range of approaches taken to solving this competition. People seem to be more open to experimenting a bit more than they usually do, and that;s a good thing as far as I'm concerned.
All of you who came through and submitted...I suggest you stand and take a bow. The applause you hear is for you.

curse you,competitors! awesome job
artbyzak,i think most didn't go with this kindof picture because of the (suggested) size restriction.
props to everyone.

To match 14, AKA InvincibleWombat, Stokes, Chupacabra, and Nisse-Bula:
Holy crap.
I can't believe how much ass you guys kick. Congrats for not fallin out and awesome pieces!! Nisse-Bula where the hell did you come from? I couldn't find examples of your work anywhere!
And to everyone else, amazing work...
I also have a folder of my faves that is well above 50 pieces. A few of my absolute faves include ProstateSunrise, Icon, sept13, Rambozo, DavePalumbo and Pan. But in general everyone's work is so amazing its painful xP.
i love how many aquatic scenes there are in this competition~ i love so many of the entries, and i am amazed at how many CAers i never heard of turn in such stunning works~~ Good luck everybody!
No pussies in our match! Nice work everyone.
Hey, Carnifex, I kept within the restrictions: less than 1000 pixels across and under 500kb. My image was only 500 pixels across, and 481k or so.
I wish I could have made it even bigger, because it lost soooooooo much detail when I shrunk it down. If I'm fortunate enough to move on to round 2, I'll probably do something a lot simpler. This piece took so long to finish.
Chingwa, I just saw your entry again and then realised that you made an adaptation from a Japanese fairy tale, am I right ? That's the crucial moment of the story. Excellent, that fits greatly to the topic. I got the tale in mind, but can't remember the title. Can you enlight me ? Thanks.![]()

Here are a few comments for the pieces that stood out for me in this thread. I'd have loved to be able to comment on all of them but alas, there are only so many hours in a day.
Icon - Love it! Subtle and clever!
Dougbot - Very cool. I like it a lot.
Patrick Ballesteros - A lot of people did the "tiny creature piloting a robot suit" concept, but I love all the cool little details you threw in there.
ArtByZak - Aw man, I thought mine was going to be the longest image, but you beat me by 27 pixels. Great stuff, man.
GreenTopaz - Wow! You just keep getting better. Great work!
Romance - Very nice work; creepy, sad and a little disturbing. I knew it was yours as soon as I saw it.
bluefooted - I'm just a huge fan of everything you do. This is no exception.
Sept13 - Aw, how sweet. Love it, but it's perhaps a little too nicolas-esque.
Ilaekae - Haha, I never know what to expect from you.
PatriciaS - Very funny!
Vorace - Great creature design there.
Helzon - Haven't seen your work in a while, you've improved a lot!
daveneale - Love those little guys.
alxcote - You really did a lot with a simple concept. Great work.
Yumiko - There are a surprising amount of mermaids in this round, but yours is one of the best!
Eric
Heya Alday... Nice catch man! It's based on "The Crane Wife" (tsuru no ongaeshi), and is indeed depicting the crucial moment in the story... It's really a rather touching story of two beings who loved each other very closely. However there are underpinnings of greed and other less noble human characteristics as well. The final painting comes across rather ominous, and loses the touching aspect to the tale which I regret a bit...
