lovely stuff as usual, the costumes are always so crazy and interesting, no need to remind you again how tight your rendering is (esp in the samurai piece) and its cool to see all the studies you've been doing (great pick on the Hale study, one of my fav)
ciao!
Cool Dan :] , see you later on skeatcher![]()
excellent Stuff daniel! Cool to see you post again. The studies look fucking great, really cool environments. think on the last image there could be more highlights and less darks, feel it gets a little hard to read where the light is coming from in certain areas.
cheers for sharing dude
damn it dude, that last page cracked me up.

I've followed you for months but I've never replied, so I'd just like to say thank you for taking the time to share your art with us.
Your hard work is fucking inspiring.
I dont know what to say, you're getting too good for your own good. Someone might hurt you!
Love it all, your painting and colour has improved incredibly quick.
Jesus christ this last one is pretty incredible
thanks man.

good to have you back mate, you works are always kicking my ass, i can´t barely sit after these right now .
daymn!
cool paintings dude. love the color work.
I think you've improved a lot since the last time I saw your work.
But still there is something I'd like to say about these works... There are a lot of things in your drawings/paintings that seem absurd...too absurd. Like in the last painting, I think you didn't have a good plan in your mind when you started working on this one. To me it seems like as you went along you just slapped some new ideas on the canvas without thinking what it would do to the whole picture. I think the picture suffers from this, and it just doesn't qualify as 'beautiful' to me. (I'm not even going to ask about his belly) If the picture was approached with more simplification it could be way better. Even though it's nicely painted!
I also think the painting could be better if the silhouette was stressed more. His right arm could do some adjustments, and the left arm, in my opinion, would look more interesting if the tendons that connect the bicep to the bone were more visible. Right now the anatomy looks too...liquid? Can't find the right word for that...
Even though it's obvious that you've made some progress, I think you definitely should experiment more with stuff (and if you already have, I'm curious to see them!). You should definitely show us your life drawings, if you've made any... In my own experience I've noticed life drawing teaches you to include the relevant things and throw out the rest. I think you'd greatly benefit from this.
The landscape paintings up there look really nice. I think it would be polite to mention somewhere that the first painting is after Hale
Keep it up! (and sorry for the long boring post)

Doyle': I think your post is absurd... =)
Dan, It's nice to see all your work together you can really see your knowledge and skill pushing through. The only beef I have on your last painting is his hand. The bone structure is a bit messed check out your own hand.

Love it all, great work, thanks for posting
...mind blowing update mate, Great stuff, cheers
Very cool updates. Colours are constantly improving so keep pushing in whatever way you are!
It'd be cool to see some in-action poses.. or something where a char is balanced in a position that requires a different weight distribution.. might help push things a bit? uhmm de dum but lovely things, I know you are just doing what you are doing so I am sure you have you're own way =)
here's too justify the consistency of my words...
thanks alot guys, replies soon, gotta go rest a bit
Your colour work is really starting to come together, keep working on it, I think you still have allot of growing potential.
And the sketches are kicking the fat behinds as usual.
Keep on going!![]()
