Wilkerson: Thanks. Nope not for that one. Gotta be careful with the smudge tool.
Dile_: Glad you like the stuff here, Dennis. And I know you sent the mail.
amazing sketches!!!!!
may i ask how to draw so many leaves clearly as shown in post #419 ??
Cerealist,
Knowing your medium (brush settings> colour dynamics> brightness jitter at 50%.)
+
Knowing your subject (drawing a couple of trees from reference before trying from your head)
Here's a hi-res detail of the wip.

there is something really unique in your paintings, just as in the last one, it looks amazing how you combine different compositional elements (doesnt matter if you aimed for it or if it just turned out thatway), in all of these image there pops out this... well uniqueness as i said wich makes you, even if youre still in your developement a very promising artist. subscribed this thread and 5* as i think your work is great but in a few pages youre work will be a blast!

Awesome stuff all around, but that last painting is just amazing. Feels like could walk straight into it. Beautiful use of light and brushwork.
Beautiful sketchbook soumeng!! Your enviro work is stunning, I especially like the use of texture and how you are managing recession. Great job on the master studies too, really nice brushwork in those especially that last Sargent portrait. The character work is top-notch too, though I will say that I'm not entirely sure about that character based off the last enviro. In the enviro it looks like a man but in the character piece the face and body/costume shapes seem to make it come acros somewhat androgynous.
Keep up the great work!!
Hi people reading this!
Okay so here's my contribution to the rock-in-the-grass format landscape somehow commonplace among digi-artists. Not to happy with certain areas. I'll see later...
A new progress shot of the character. I wish the whole thing ends up looking like that hand...

Xbert: Thank you, that's very encouraging to hear!
NickyBeats: Thanx for stopping by!
Ismo: Glad you like it! : )
MacTire: Glad you like the stuff here. And yeah actually I am going for a female character. I agree it's not too obvious in the enviro piece but I might go back and rework that one anyway.
Hey guys,
here's a new semi finished sketch.
Let me know whatcha think!

This is my jacket drying on the window knob from a heavy rain yesterday. Some incredible effects of light there, you gotta be insane to even try to paint them.
thanks for being insane and painting it!
great ideas for works and painting skills
did you finished the one with motorbike?
cheers
SM this one is so fresh looking at it is like brushing my teeth
and without sounding completely mental, this is one of my favourite things.. well, ever, really
by the way the ride and steering on the bike'll be harsh if the front wheel is fixed.. Kaneda's wrists mustve been shot..

wonderful stuff, as always, Soufiane!
Takashmen: Thanks and no, I didn't because I'm not too happy with it and I have other images to work on meanwhile.
Jonafunart: Thanks, I'm glad that one is getting some love, it has its flaws but I still like it.
Velocity Kendall: Hahaha don't apologise man it's great!I may definitely use your PO when I get down to reworking the image (if you don't mind); I love what you did in terms of design to the front of the bike, not sure why you didn't hint at the left part of the handle-bar though? And thanks a bunch for the reminder about the front wheel being fixed! I gave the tonal composition in that piece so much thought that I overlooked more practical things. You really can't let your guard down on anything with this business!
Conte: Thank you. I love your stuff mate, your "Vilghame Manewaft" piece on CGHUB is in my faves, wonderful piece!
