Well that's a pretty awesome first set of drawings. I can't even imagine what you could come with next. I love how you have a very wide range of styles here and judging by your sketches, you seem very disciplined as well.

You wouldn't happen to be doing any mentoring would you? Cuz your stuff is seriously awesome and I could sure use the help.

Nice line work! i really think you have grasp on confident lines. well done. i also am appreciating the emotion conveyed from your simple characters. you seem to have no problem creating a simple image with an easily understandable meaning. Also, i agree on the standards here at concept art can be high, but hey, we all start somewhere. im trying to improve as well. i definitley think you could help me with my stuff.
    Keep at it!

    Impressive pencils!

I honestly suggest you go all out and experiment with the digitals though. You clearly have a hang on things, it shows in your pencils.

Don't be afraid of doing something horrible digitally, just take a day or 2 off and just check out the wide variety of brushes and how nice and unique some of them might be, after you have found out the tools and unique qualities on the tools, you can take them and evolve them in to what you wish!

Definately a nice start, a good variety of styles.

Great stuff! Something to look out for

Awesome line control. (which you have probably already heard by now)
As far as your digital renderings go, keep it up but try to avoid using white lighting. Experiment more with colors for your light-source.

You got some very cool stuff in here man. I loved that Leonidas , 300 FTW!

But you asked for crits, I also think that they're always very usefull so here you go with something:

The first led study you posted is, at my advise a little wicked, I mean legs follow a rithym like that of course but, not so curved, and the part of limbs ( not sure for that word, sorry for my bad english ) is too short and gone to the right , but it's nothing you can't fix hehe...

By for now 4 stars from me, I'll be checking ya !

    Hi guys,

    Long time no update….

I’ve been away for bit, and come back to find I’ve missed out on this amazing thing called ‘DEEP’!

Oh well shit happens, but I didn’t wont to miss out completely, so the other day I started to scratch down some ideas,

Here’s a few of them, there no-way near finished but hopefully I’ll get round to It some time.

hey man! its been forever but i finally have started gettting back into the sketchbooks. just happened to stop by and notice your recent update. like the aqua concepts. but i am really curious about the art rage stuff. honestly i think those simple experiments with that new program have demonstrated the most potential from what i have seen in here. never used it but i am considering. really nice techniques on the birds. i would like to see some life studies in here or some quick gestures to see how you can pick up quick information. keep it up! draw now!

i really like these new hatching techniques your doing. i need to try this. after all we need to study all aspects of drawing, and this style is really appealing to me anyway. i might even say it looks more imposing than some of your other stuff. i think you could get really good with that style, if you could i would like to see you do more of that. great job. keep the updates rollin'!
