Eerin, you can draw very well, and have color theory to back it up. I especially like your wow pieces (i play, but am leaving for warhammer).

An example of comparisons comes to mind here. Check out Frank Frazetta, and then look at Boris Vallejo's work, and then tell me which you find more interesting

Wow instant subscribe! Very lovely stuff here. The Blood Moon Monk (I assume that's the one) could use a little contrast though, especially between the background and character.

    Verehin - Thank you!
    stacipen -Cheers! =)
Kingcostas - the skull is one of the most awesome things the De Young museum, I think everyone draws it!
lawvalamp -Thanks! I like Frank Franzetta, classic stuff.
Carl_Soria - thank you! I still need to vastly expand my library of cultural designs and costumes
lilou - I agree with you, its definitely unrefined and needs lots more work.
jubjubjedi - thanks! I'm not attending just yet though
xinleh - cheers! and you're right, the blood moon monk could use much more polishing.

I haven't updated this thing in so long. So shameful. Here's some stuff I did. I'll upload more later.

Hey Eerin, I remember you, what happened? You disappeared for a while I hope all is good and that you've simply been busy drawing in the meantime! That's the only excuse I'll accept, anyway

Nice update. The painting of red riding hood is my favourite, I like the soft colouring technique you used. Something about the colour palette reminds me of loish's style, which is definitely a good thing!

So are you studying art somewhere? I saw someone mention AAU up here, is that where you are heading?

Dur I love your female figures. They are so curvy and remind me of Renaissance women. My favorite is the woman in the tree with the feathers. She's so pretty and her form is gorgeous

Ah! I'm so happy to see more come in from you! I adore your work, style choices, taste and subject matter. Please come and post more sooner than later, hey?

And what's this about AAU? I and another friend are starting there in the fall. You getting involved? I'll be in Portland for a semester or two doing online stuff at first, but I will eventually move down to San Francisco. If you are headed there, do you have any idea which major direction you're gonna work toward? We may have classes together in the future!

    Cheers!

    conte - Thanks!
    Vloth - Thank you
AsaB - I got too lazy to post my stuff But I'm back, hopefully for good. And thanks for that link, its a new artist for me! Currently I'm at a community college clearing away liberal art requirements. I'm planning to attend AAU once that's done though.
sevarenge - Thanks, I'm planning to go to AAU. I will check your SB =)
    eromenos - Luscious curves
staticpen - Currently, I'm going for the Illustration major (with the digital track). I do hope we have some classes together! I might be attending next fall!

Here are some thumbnails I did for oil paintings (I used Enayla's masked series for reference for the last one):

the way you paint faces is stunniiinngg! and in fact people, in general. and your digital colouring style is lushhh (maybe try some more adventurous facial expressions though, when the need arises. gogogooo!)

Ahhh, Illustration. haha. That's grand. I'm looking at that same direction as well.
Great thumbs! I especially like the wild line flourishes you have threaded through the second one. I'm not quite sure how you got everything in that piece to work together so well, but the colors and general ethereal vibe you've got going on there reminds me of the one Japanese artist who used to post on cartoontv. Site's down now, but your watery, misty aesthetic is like a blast from the past, in a very good way!

Beautiful artwork! I really like your red riding hood with the apples, the sketch below it, and the last one with the masked lady with her swans. Wonderful job!

All of your art is so beautiful classical looking, post more sketches! I know you have them...

By the way, I think it's your turn to update sketchbook, so I'm resuscitating you haha. Going back to college makes you pretty busy huh? (I never see you on AIM anymore) Anyway, oh god Team Chow. *weep*

gutss - Thank you and I will try =)
AvisNocturna - Thanks, I noticed that most (if not all) of my art work is peaceful though, haha. I got to break out of that specific mood.
staticpen - Then I hope we have tons of classes together! =D Maybe that site will come back on, and you could show me the awesome art.
Vishaka - Done and currently being worked on, and thank you!
rosethornCGart - Thanks, I appreciate the support! =)
Kuraudo - Coming from you, that's incredibly encouraging! I'm still gonna work my butt off though because I need to be good enough to get into the industry
Hapun- Haha, you resurrected it just as I updated it! xD I'm gonna be on AIM more, we need to work on that ChOW activity!

Some stuff I've done. The figure drawings are like a min or two min long. The painting is a WIP...I accidentally saved the small pixel version over the larger print version, I hate when that happens =(

Mm, such pretty rhythm in your figures. Throwing down bold strokes in all the right places to add some music to the figure.
Bummer about the painting... I've done that as well. It's a real downer. =/ Looks nice so far, though. I like the composition and framing and colors and all of that. :d

really good stuff I like your figures a lot. you can really see the form. I also like your use of color. in your color work I would suggest trying to loosen up, because you have a great eye for line and motion, It is hard to see that in your photoshop paints. Keep it up man it is looking good

crown - Thanks for hopping into my SB! =D
lilnebo - Thank you Lilenbo! I saw Icon's stuff before, she does incredibly sweet artwork!
Gloominati - Thanks and here's more...!
eromenos - Cause centaurs get done too many times... got to be more original
courtyard - You make me feel all fuzzy and warm; thank you!
kevinwueste - Thank you kevin! =) And you have not seen me at any AAU workshops because I'm not a student there (yet). On the matter of your sketchbook, I beg to differ, it's beyond fantastic (and better than mine!).
staticpen - (You bumped my SB while I was updating so now I have to edit this in xD) Thanks about the figures! =) I picked that up from one of the teachers in my CC, its (apparently) an animator's way of portraying rhythm and feel of a figure.
IronFistGoon - Thank you for the insight! I will try loosening up at times

Here are some crude quickies.... first one is an idea for a ChOW Team character (Protector), and the other two are from Planet Earth...
