i like the idea of bloody wings
i dont understand where the cross is being taken out
also the whole garment around his neck is quite confusing
the ninja vampire slayer is quite flat which makes the clothing, the cross and his bodyparts fuse together into a somewhat confusing combination. Altho the flat color could be your stylistic choice i feel that you would need to distinguish the parts of the ninja to give him more depth

I agree the blood wings is an excellent choice. I think the clothing covers too much of the body, which makes the pose hard to work out.
I really like the whites strips of material, real graphic style. I think you'd probably want to either simplify the back ground, or make the character more gritty with some textures etc...

i see what u guys r talkin. i think my graphic style choice causes theses issues.

i wanted to make it look like peices of paper cut out and mounted on top of each other.and it was kinda confusing to layer it like i did. i figured a mini cloak would would look better (thou it does make the pose more ambiguous).

as far as the texture i added some in there, but it doesnt show as well w/ these smaller pics (u really have to zoom in). anybody got a suggestion on how i could do it better?

cool idea & the background is good... your cut outs are jagged especially the white strips & the piece is not blended enough with the background, more subtle cast shadows would help also make it not appear so flat an image. Cool graphic idea. Kelly
