I've had this tendency my whole life to draw everything way too tall and thin... (Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I'm really tall and thin?)

Ho man your style is noticable and different. And your pencil skills are way better than mine ! A teacher once told me that people draw other persons a little the way like ourselfs. So that might realy be the answer .
Keep it creative do stuff have fun ..

Nice gallery. The sketch of the woman with the umbrella on the first page reminds me of the avatars from FF0000.com.
You have some great pencil work, and your skill at drawing hands makes me jealous, haha!

ohomoho - thanks sir!! Haha, I guess that's it.

Belle - Woah, I hadn't seen that site - crazy and awesome stuff. I totally see the similarity. And thanks so much!

With PS painting I always feel so lost... but maybe I'm getting the hang of it. As with most things in life, I think its a matter of mind over matter... This is a complete wip, but I felt like showing it anyway.

Wow. I've been away for a week in NYC, and coming back I find so many wonderful replies! Thank you all so much.

I just toured Pratt, SVA and Parsons. I was really impressed with SVA. I still need to see RISD and MICA, though!

Lakka - Thanks so much! Sometimes I really struggle with hands, but even then, they're such a fun challenge.

Flipnastywebby - Dude thanks for coming back! I love your work, I need to see what you've been up to.

fragmentedchimp - Woohoo the man himself. I really appreciate your comments, absolutely adore your work. This is really pushing a style I want to work with so I love to hear its coming off well!!!

humanNature6115 - I definitely do have a tendency to stylize, I need to reign it in sometimes! Thanks for the reminder.

mentler - Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by, I appreciate it to no end.

serhc - I'm so glad you like it!

God- my new stylus arrived, and it's broken! The tip won't write. I have a replacement on the way

Well, since only the tip is broken, I can still draw with the eraser - but... it's really annoying having only the eraser in PS... anyone know if it can be made to work as a normal tip, so you can use other tools?

I love your work! Great eye for composition, and fantastic ability to render the human form with your own touch of style.

    Looking forward to more ^-^
