Ok I met you in Amsterdam at the first workshop, and actually I met you before that here on CA, back then your work was good. But man, you have arrived! You have fucking made it, many many many congrats. I know how much time and work it takes to get to where u are man, I'm working on it my self.
People!!! This mother fucker is an example of how if you work hard, have the love of art, and devote your self to art it will happen. Given he's a talented dude, and that's an important factor...
Fucking beautiful works man, inspiring to see how far you've come. By the way I'm pretty sure I saw your work in IMFX, congrats on that as well!!!

Bjorn, you've already heard this from me a bunch but you should be really proud of yourself man. Your friends certainly all are. I can remember meeting you just a few years ago when you were still looking to break into the industry, and now you post this. Fantastic work, man.
Yeah Bjorn! What a shitload of top notch goodness!!
Big ups man, this stuff is super inspiring. You've upped your game big time, and that's inspiring too!
Seeing the screenshots last week and knowing you worked on this game, I was kind of hoping for a post like this - but it absolutely overgrew my expectations. It an amazing collection of works and designs, also a great testimony of your growth as an artist. You're a true inspiration for me - keep it going :] Cheers.

Vision without action is a daydream, Action without vision is a nightmare.
I bet I don't even have what game system this will be released for but I'm getting it anyway! This is some of the best work on CA to date!
Damn.... it's mega awesomeness overload!
Your design has been too good!! I like this game!!Anticipates you better work!!
Respect!
That dragon is incredible.
great stuff! and so much of it..
Pretty awesome.
We all know that you deserve your place in the game industry.
Keep the level high, i'm so hungry when i see your character/creature design.
Total respect.
Wow! Those dragons are great. I love the swagger some of the nonhumans have too.
Couple of questions- Do you know if/who was the environment concept artist for this was. Also, was this game made at the Horsham office? (thats just down the road from me)
Ditto Mitchell.
It's great seeing some really refined pieces from you too - rather than just lunchtime speedies (which are great, but a different thing altogether).
Huge inspiration. Thanks for including so much process stuff. Its great to see just how many iterations you actually go though
Really beautiful stuff.
My favourites would have to be the dragons. Awesome designs. A little away from the dragon cliche, which is so hard! Great design.
One pic though, that I thought was an amazing piece of illustration was this:
Beautiful flow - great horizontal lines in the fabric, the armour (and all contrasted by that singular vertical on his helm), the big arc of the two arms leading up to the head, and all those horns to reinforce your focal point. Great fading off both detail and contrast in a gradient from the focal point. Great design in there too. And the looseness in the bg, the lower area, left of his legs, his legs, the texture - some of that starts to make me think of Dociu and even Mullins. The looseness doesn't look unfinished here, but consciously left to lead the eye elsewhere. Something that only comes with mileage and knowledge and illustrative skill. Something beginners (myself included) often try to get away with and fail horribly. This image however succeeds so well, and instantly went on my desktop (which tends to stay unchanged for weeks at a time, so it is some small award all its own).
Congrats on a fantastic body of work. I hope you are really proud.
Keep on posting, and keep on inspiring, and good luck with getting front page

Fantastic post Mr.Hurri!!
There's so much good stuff in here, i don't know where to start... But that dragon is just wonderful, and a really fresh approach and design. I spent ages looking at the colour version. Reeeeeeeally nice!
And i like the two big ugly fellas too, the one with the arrows in his asymetrical back (the lack of symmetry in his shoulders adds a lot to this design), and the bloke with the boils. You could almost touch them! (If you weren't squeamish, and had some rubber gloves on!)
I'll echo a few other folk, and say that it's an inspiration to see how you've developed and improved over the last few years to a pro level. I bet your employers are delighted that they took you on.
And that little bump that fooxoo is carrying around for you is gonna be real proud of it's daddy when it's cooked and pops out to meet y'all. However rewarding all this colouring in is, nothing can prepare you for the first few moments when you meet your first child!
Congratulations to you and fooxoo, and good luck with it all.![]()
Hey man, cant believe i've only just seen this post, what an idiot.
Gonna add to the praise mate. This is an incredible body of consistent high level work. Massive respect.
