    Trainings in Open Source Multimedia

    Hi everybody,
I am really happy that in this forum there are many people who are really interested in Art! That is very important for me, because I work for something which is directly related with open source software for 3D modeling, animation, rendering, post-production, interactive creation and playback.
I want to invite you and inform you about new Tosmi training session - an open source CGI and multimedia training for professionals organized by InterSpace. The 2008 training will cover the fields of 3D CGI, post-production, animation and special effects, media content for the web, web TV and e-marketing. The training is mainly based on open source software and provides skills in innovative and efficient tools and distribution channels allowing for achieving quality production and/or education process at low expenses. Therefore we believe the sessions can be of advantage to professionals, managers and trainers in the audiovisual production and marketing.
In 2008 the training will take place in Thessaloniki (Greece) and Sofia (Bulgaria) and will be available in three sessions:
General Blender techniques, tips and tricks
Media content for the web, e-Marketing, streaming techniques
Advanced Blender techniques, external rendering engines, Python scripting

During the courses, there is a focus on practice which helps participants to assimilate and understand the new knowledge received. In the first course, Blender is in the core of the program and will be used to teach an entire production process. In the second course, participants will produce and learn how to distribute audio and video content with open source software. And in the third course, participants will learn the advanced animation and interactive features of Blender.
Deadline for enrollment is 25 April.
Each session has a participation fee of 1000 Euro. Scholarships will be available.
To learn more about the program, methodology, software included and trainers, visit http://tosmi.org For more information feel free to contact us at [email protected].

This invitation is for people from European Union and some West Europe countries not part of EU.
