I can see what you mean about Bonnie's face. The problem is it's asymmetrical because you drew it with a slant. Just select her face with the freehand selection tool and use Edit > Transform > Distort to realign it. Keep going; I love the sunny effect going on right now; can't wait to see it finished ^^

Hey squeeze! I'm loving your newest. The lighting in it is phenomenal, so natural and realistic! The movement in the couple is beautifully done. I thought humans were your big forté but then I noticed the bg and I think that one's definitely up to par! Beautiful tree, again the lighting hits it in a wonderful way.

    Angry

hey Kelly! I'm loving how the picture above this one is turning out. Just wanted to point out a few things that might help.

Figures-flowing with differing lines of emphasis. the conflict in this one is offscreen and is emphasized by the head angles < > and figure lines

Color-Try not to use absolute black or white except for clothes with the exception of radiosity on cloth

Planning-think I remember it being called the 3/4 rule, by placing a tictactoe grid over the pic you can control the viewers focus by trapping the eye.|/\|

Hey Kelly. really like the dragon fly, superb. The texture of the wings are an aspect that really make the piece as well as the suface it is resting on. The Clyde painting is coming on well, as it is still in progress i don't know whether to critique just yet. Keep at it

    Cool

I like the detail in the figure, but you seem to have two light sources, and a little too much chiaroscuro. Still, its very effective modern noire. You could do a lot more with dramatic lighting. Keep it comin'!

gah. i cant keep up with how much you post.

i feel sort of odd saying this but i think you need to move the logo a bit more across and make it fllow the contours of the girls buttocks some more.

    love the pose though.

Okay, I'm going to get shot but I think there's something a little off with her face. From the angle of the lips and nose it seems the far cheek is a little too far round? I just can't quite figure out precisely where her face is directed.

Otherwise, really striking image. I'm looking forward to seeing this completed.

i think there should be a little bit more skin right above her right (from my view point) butt cheek. Im not to sure though.

hope you dont mind me editing the image to show what i mean. I hardly understood what i just typed up. Anyways my point is that she looks to thin right there, and i think there should be more added. But i could be wrong, so w.e.

    Hi Kelly,
Right critiques... Its kind of hard for me to crit this one because I like it so much,
The only thing that is buging me about this one is the nose, it just seems way to big/long.
But its a cool piece you've got going here, I'm really liking the pose and the colours in the background, but somthings not right with that ammo belt... it just dose'nt seem to go anywhere.
sorry to not be of any help.

    keep posting,

    matt

I think I liked her before you changed her outfit. It was more iconic and I thought it read better. The only exception is the outer edge of her boob which now reads better. The highlight on the hair is quite cool with it's bluish tint, however the shadows on your skin show a tendency of getting muddy, you might want to address that.

Otherwise this is a really neat sketchbook! So much progress since the start!
