I've been experimenting with marker brushes and was never really happy with them. Step 8 is the real life saver in this tutorial!

A fantastic tutorial. I work with markers a lot and just couldn't get them to work correctly as a digital medium, this gives me the chance to switch it up a little. Thanks!
