Stuff White People Like
Ha! Enjoy.
OMG yes, I like T-shirts and water as well! I must be superwhite!
Who are these so called "White People" that you speak of? I've never heard of such a thing. I myself am a sort of Naples yellow with hints of orange, crimson and occasional streaks of blue...except for my little toenail which is black because I dropped a hammer on it.
This is stupid

I don't get it. and by not getting, I pretty much disagree with everything on there...
I hate bikes. I'd rather walk. I can carry more and not carry this steel frame everywhere and be afraid of it being stonlen.
I hate the oscars.
I hate shorts.
I live in canada, so aparently I've made good on my threat.
I don't know a damn thing about cars so toyota prius means nothing to me.
I buy sandwiches because they're cheaper than the perogis.
I hate sports period.
I don't know who that direwctor guy is and I've never seen any of those movies.
I've heard of mos def but no idea who he is or what he does.
The only thing about school I've experienced is learning.
The only reason I'd live anywhere is because it's cheaper than other places.
I drink tap water all the time.
Modern furnature is too pristine, looks like you can't be comfortable on it.
I hate soccer.
I don't even know what graduate school is good for.
Corporations are alright as long as they don't stab third world children in the eyes with forks to make them work faster.
I did have a tough time in highschool, but the other half of the white kids who attended naturally had a great time, so that makes no sense.
t-shirts are nice for when you want to keep cool when it's between 0 and 15 celcius. Any more and it's too warm, any less and it's too cold. This may only be true for canadian white people though.
Outdoor performance clothes... I have a battered grey sweater for when I want to run in the cold, and a battered stained wife-beater when I want to run when it's warm (-0 to +0 respectively for non-canadians)
and for the #1 point; I have no gay friends. I'd laugh at the funny way they talk, too much so, to be considered a good friend. Seriously, they talk more femenine than females. I find it funny, but not in the "get-off-my-property-I'm-a-bad-person" funny.
I find it funny that the fact that the overarching thing that white people like isn't actually on the list. What is it? It's the fact that they like to think they aren't white and will do anything to prove how cool and non-white they are, something I demonstrated in this post![]()
hmmm here was me thinking that I drank water to survive.........

I feel a little stupider having read through that website...

except, of course, for those who don'tI have no gay friends. I'd laugh at the funny way they talk, too much so, to be considered a good friend. Seriously, they talk more femenine than females.

Yeah, all this time I thought I was Native American, but dammit, I have gay friends, I drink water, and yes, its true, I eat fancy sandwiches with lots of meat! My whole world is shattered!
Oh, and btw, I have a gay friend whos a big fat biker, talks with a deep bassy voice, doesnt know shit about interior decoration, and would probably kick most peoples ass. Just cause people are gay doesnt mean they instantly become like the queer eye guys.
LOL! Missed out the people who turn up at football matches in strips and golfers who watch tournaments in golfing clothes.

That was satire, right?

How would you know if you had talked to a manly gay man who did not conform to your stereotype? you may talk to many that you would not know unless they wanted you to, that they are gay.but every one I've talked to conforms to the more-girly-than-girls stereotype, and I'd be far too imature to be their good friend![]()
My favorite responses to the site:
this seems like a guide on how to help the immigrant to succeed in the world.
and then from "The Immigrant"
I will let you know how this works out for me.
Thanks

Jason slipped up.. let it go guys... he admitted it.
that said, and this having been said, this is stupid.
When TFK first posted this I checked it out, thought it was maybe mildly amusing, nothing more. However, after seeing people get all worked up about it, I've decides it's really, really great.
Whoooshedy whoosh whoosh.
And entry #50 is just too meta for words.

Thank God for that; thought I'd maybe misplaced my sense of humour; and let's face it,- it's all that keeps me going....!

Maybe they should have a blog called what straight people with no gay friends think about gay people...
Hell Jason yeah you are right there are extremely camp gay people out there some of my gay friends make fun of how camp these people are, but dude you know by now not to buy into stereotypes.... kind of ironic that this should happen on a post about stereotypes.

I love it.
Especially the one about white people standing still at concerts. Imagine being the band and rocking out for a whole set and looking down just to a few hundred people just staring at you unmoving.
Am I the only one to notice the all the irony we're wading through?
