    Post Sci-Fi Action Game with Roleplaying features -People Needed- (non-paid)

    Hi there,

    -Team name:
    Haven't been decided yet and will be discussed afterwards.

    -Project name:
    Universe of Chaos: Specia (working title)

    -Brief description:
    The game is currently in the alpha phase (creating the main concept/ plot, writing the gameplay form, drawing concept art and etc). Our purpose is to create a Third Person Action Shooter game, set in a futuristic large scale world including Role playing features and we might use a free open source engine called Ogre.

    -Target aim:
    We aim on releasing a Freeware version of the game. (A retail version might be discussed afterwards, but still it’s an unsure plan of the future).

    -Compensation:
    Volunteer work only. NO contracts, payment, or employment of any kind.

    -Technology:
    Target system: Windows
    Programming language: C/C++,might be developed with the free open source engine called Ogre.
    Artist tools: 3ds Max, Maya, Photoshop, etc.

    -Talent needed:
    We are looking for active working individuals with a good temperament, to have a passion for games and everyone who wants to help in the development.
    In the following list are the people we need for our Team:
    -Graphics
    Concept Artists (environment, characters, vehicles, etc)
    Texture Artists
    3D Modelers (characters, vehicles, buildings, vegetation, etc)
    Animators
    Level/ World Designers

    -Team structure:
    Currently the team consists of the following members:
    The Project Leader/ Game Designer & General Graphics Designer
    A 3D Modeler
    2 Concept Artists
    3 C++ Programmers.

    The first one is an armor permutation for Halo 3, the second is an SMG from Halo 2-3.

    well yes but I didn't said it's not from halo or if it is, so anyway...but my concept artist made it just for fun and nothing serious only to show that he can draw...lol (I also told him that these stuff are from halo and he said just 4fun...)...recently we came up with unique ideas for our own game...thx for noticing it...

    No one is going to take you the least bit seriously showing "concept art" that is ripped from another game. Also, your game isn't in Alpha. It doesn't even sound like it's in pre-alpha/developement yet.

    If you been involved in a mod team before that has completed a project? If not, I suggest getting some experience before trying to run your own.

    As a Indie or Comic game development team you still have to respect the terms for not copying any form of design, models , sound effects etc. This is against the law.
