Good start. That first color painting has a nice composition. The only thing breaking it is the longest lightbeam. It leads the eye out of the canvas. You might might to let it fade in the clouds just like the other ones. Try get the Andrew Loomis books if you don't have them already. You can download them for free somewhere on the net. As you said with practice you can become as good as the folks around here. Keep at it!
hey man, good start for your sketchbook! the composition on that first piece is awesome. nice to see you practice everything, especially anatomy, keep it up!
Great start and keep practicing - the variety of imagery is good.
thank u soooh much for your posts, it means alot to me and motivated me extremly ;D
i bought the books of Loomis, hope they 'll come tomorrow.
i hadnt so much freetime today so; i just finished it very raw.

To answer your question, I assume you want to get better at painting. Studying photos is a good way to start but don't forget that Photoshop is only a tool. What you need to focus on right now is getting strong basic skills. Learn perspective. Practice drawing simple forms like spheres, cylinders and boxes and light them from different angles. These are going to be the basic building blocks for anything that you draw and paint. Look for these simple forms in the subjects that you study. If you can do it on paper you can do it in photoshop. If you don't understand the basics it doesn't matter if you're holding a pencil or a stylus you won't be getting the results that you want. The Loomis books contain all the info you need to get started so I'm looking forward to your first studies. Good luck!
do not have enough time today ~_~
but ive got holidays till ... now ;D and i hope my books will come soon Öö
so , no time to waste
cheers

Nice to see you're working hard. You should buy a book on perspective too, it's crucial to do those environments correctly. And try to do more studies from reference. Doing stuff out of your imagination is great but first you need to observe nature to understand how things work, then you can go crazy with the stuff in your head. Keep on it!
interesting stuff ...i can see some good enviros concepts...also some cretures ..maybe if u try to develope some of this ideas would be great to see...cheers
fantasyartist: Great to get these advices from u. i will draw from references next times for sure.
Dan Valkar: Thanks dude (: maybe ill do so, lets see =]

It seem you're very confident with the colours you use in digital painting. try and experiment now with more dynamic composition and poses. I can see you studying perspective. Thats a great way to start off.
