Thats pretty cool, very big daddyesk. I really like the design for the torso, makes him look bulky, angery, and generaly not someone to push around. Good job.

Great design and execution. I can see each piece very clearly and nothing seems overly painted. The one thing that would really bring the image out though, would be a bit stronger of color in the background. Nothing bright or loud, jusy something to make the design pop a little more, and give viewers a better feel of how this character would look in an environment.

I like it, seems you have a little Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann(anime) inspiration there. I like the rusted, battleworn look and the addition of gear on it. Great stuff.

cool mech! You said you are training in this style of concepts... I assume you were working from this Kieth Thompson tutorial:

    http://www.imaginefx.com/02287754332...9/tutorial.pdf

which definitely cool....I mean that's what it's there for, but you should perhaps cite the reference.

I mean everyone has their influences, which is fine.... Kieth was probably somewhat inspired by Ma.K ( maschinen krieger ) for this tutorial. and I know you worked to put a different spin on the mech from the tut and it looks very good. It's just that still is fairly similar, as Beckerda mentioned, so if you were indeed working from this tutorial it might be fair to mention it....if it is just coincidence, my mistake.

Anyway, I think this a cool direction for your work and it will be cool to see if you decide to develop this style further.

    How no! Police!!

As i said before in other post, yes i'm working with the influence of KT and no, i don't know this tutorial.

Thanks , but i prefer to buy his book.
The book will come in my box on two days, i hope!

I'm always in contact with Keith and he knows all of my work, step by step i think...
I hope that you don't think "he's just a copist", i'm just a young designer with a big pasion as you, that's all.

I've one or tree others in preparation, and somes fantasys concepts both.
    I'll post it, sure!

P.S. Beckerda It's very kindly from you to post this image into my thread...I'd just spend ten hours on this concept...thx a lot .

Thanks for the others posts, other people and the forum of course.
    See you
    GS

I don't think there is a problem with posting a link to the tutorial. It's publicly available from ImagineFx's website.

I see a few different influences here like the GURPS RPG stuff and on the other side the Neutrocker stuff kinda leaked in as well. Awsome amazing details on this stuff man! Keep rockin!
