Help me win Dominance War III :-D

Hey there! I'm flork! and this is my progress on my Dominance war III entry.
its an evil warlord guy who uses artifact angles as guns, with their halo as the barrel :-D
so far iv just been trying to figure out the build of the guy under the armor. I'm pretty certain Im gonna go with the big guy but im still open.













and her iv started to kinda think about the armor





please feel free to tear it apart or say take this peace from that peace and add um together all all that jazz!

Hey dude, First of all, some brilliant ideas, hugely imaginative and great looking images! My personal faves are the ones with hooves for feet, the kinda minator-esque look is awesome But at the same time i love the idea for the 3rd head on page 4, looks really cool.]

Looking forward to seeing some of these nasties on combat with things keep em coming mate, looking forward to the next post.

Here are some arm designs. This isn't my normal work flow, i always just draw whole characters at a time but this way looked fun. I have found however that designing arms for me is hard if i don't have the chest and shoulders to guide me lol

So i was told that with all the armor he looks like a tank and doesn't need the angle guns so it got me thinking it would be cool if he could call the guns to him and make them fly off when ever he wants, but why would angles do his bidding?
well because he has an angle fetus in his stomach that he strangles if they don't come of course! lol so thats the idea for the first few of them.

ah gotta love midterms! ill pick back up again next week, but for now some quick sketches between classes.

heres a quick marker sketch i did of an armor


and here i started to think about the angle gun



and the back pace that will be attached to the guns



then i decided i don't want any spikes or edges in the angle artifact weapons and keep all the jagged and spike stuff for the monster to really push the contrast between the two . heres a softer angle back, but i was getting tired when i did this one lol

Ok so its cram time now lol
i did quite a few quick comps and ideas on the boat yesterday and ill just show all of them, I'm having a hard time showing him and his guns shooting at the same time ANY HELP WITH THIS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!
my idea for the final image is him blowing away other peoples entries.









and then i designed some more guns, again going with a more angelic design with no sharp edges.




this last one i was thinking he could set one loose and it would run around like a dog lol

everything looks great so far. maybe the some of the legs and forearms your drawing are a little short? i don't know might want to take a look at those.

on he angel? there a little short on the very last one cuz i was just focusing on the ring. if anything my forearms are to long lookin back on them haha
and the big guys suppose to have little legs to make the rest look bigger, hopefully there not to small. :-/

haha becuse we have sooooooooooooomuch time lol i decided to make a mock up of my guy with 3 year old sculpy and a g.i.joe to maybe help with posing and compusitions, but all the joints melted when i backed it and i had to brake them up again lol so hes kinda limited now lol

i refined the comp a little bit, i like the hal0 taking up the top corner :-D
