Great Upload, LOL !!!, but reading that you look up Moebius on youtube makes the sketch so understandable, its so funny, and he looks masculine in a blueberry lord of rings way. Thanks for the comment on my sketchbook , Iam gonna make my lines more bold, since Ive been painting for a while and put down the pencil a lil, Iam going back into drawing with a whole new hand, my strokes in my drawings that I just did yesterday are alot more bold, I will post the drawings once I get to a scanner. Great Upload.
Look, Iam diet drama, want to spend tha night dont bring pajamas, man there's so much heat beneath clothes, you see me !

I have been playing with Acrylics lately. For a long time, I couldn't stand to use them because they darken as they dry. It drove me crazy! But I've been finding that if you use them kind of like water colors and work thin, it can be very fun.

In case you haven't noticed, I'm trying to post one spread from my moleskine per day (not counting weekends). And this concludes my first week! Wow. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be. I can't wait to see if I can pull it off next week too!

Hey Kristo Novo, I'm using a real brush. A nice, well maintained Kolinsky Sable brush is like a dream to work with.

The best brush pen that I've used is the Pentel Brush Pen. It's nice and good for traveling but it's just not as versatile as a real brush. I have also heard good things about the Pentel Pocket Brush but I have not ever used one. Looking at the pictures though, it looks like it's the same tip as the other brushes.

Man, you're a machine!!! This last one is especially awesome.

I posted up a ton of stuff from the last couple months, as well as my 2 first watercolors! One thing I can't seem to get right is scanning/photographing them... they look ruined compared to their reality. The colors are hyperactive they seem, not nearly as muted as they truly are when I scan em... any advice?

IanE: Thanks! I don't know what to say about the scan quality. I get the same problem. although I'm usually glad that the colors are more saturated. I fear that the only solution is to get a better (extremely expensive) scanner. For my bigger water colors, I will usually set them up an my little repro-stand and set my white balance of one of those grey cards and shoot a picture. In general the colors are pretty accurate when I do that. Good luck!

Ah the colors are so brilliant!

The previous post has a really sweet atmosphere about it.

    Good job

Looking at that last page you use:

    Pens with a brush tip
    Watercolors
    Gouache or acrylics or Oils.
    Colored pencil

    Am I right? :p

DoubleThink: Ha! You are almost right. For both pages I used a real brush and India ink. The paint on the right hand page is acrylic. and I used a micron 0.1 to draw the little ghost face.

    David79: Thanks!

Thanks everybody! All your kind words really help out.

My big plan to post every day lasted about a week and a half. *sigh* I just got too much work to be able to pull it off. So anyway, here's a page that I've been working on for a few days:

The blue guy is ballpoint pen, Jefferson is watercolor, I used acrylic paint to color the blue dude and for the clouds and green squares and I used a black marker for the skeleton. Word!

Dude is holding a sword here. I kind of moved on before I got to it but I always appreciate it when models bring weapons! You should never be the only naked dude in a room without a +8 battle sword to backup you up?!

These are all drawn with a graphite stick to get the basic drawing down. Then it's noodled and adjusted and colored with watercolor.
