Nice! Your girls look like Betty Page!
Maybe the contour line is too strong sometimes, but it's a great work!

    those two are fantastic.

In a number of your works the faces are...how you say...a little off....to the detriment of the work, which is too bad because otherwise these sketches are pretty well polished...

I second Santon's opinion, some of your works is so strange with nice and often really georgous body and pose with a face at a lower level. faces are extremely important for a character, but you surely know this... the female Macarthur seems to be flat for me, even if she intentionally is NOT a pinup girl
everything else is beautiful, I wish for more
my fav is the djinn, I like simply everything about it. I love this style.

Thanks to everyone for the comments.
I've decided to concentrate more on what has obviously become a recurring "weak link" in my work...Faces.
Somewhere along the line I started taking for granted that I could render a believable face and the quality of my rendering has suffered for it.

This is also as good a time as any to dive headlong into digital painting, so here it goes. This is a WIP of my first entirely digital painting. I'll post updates as they come.

As always crits are welcomed and encouraged.

Still going pretty slow, here's the progress after about another hour or so.
Alot of work to go around the eyes, and then generally tightening everything up, but I'm
    making progress.

    hey lewisauras.

I really like the painting which is on wood??

Hope you are not afraid of constructive criticism.
Your renderings are top notch no doubt about it and your anatomy look's pretty good but like some people said you should concentrate on faces as well. Also a lot of your images look really flat. I am currently drawing a lot from life to learn to understand the form and I highly suggest that is something you'd dig into if you haven't yet.
I don't know if it's the line contour that makes the images seem flat but they almost look like drawn from photos and it's just a sheet of pencil on paper instead of a 3D form rendered with pencil if you know what I mean. Also a tip for rendering which might help with this problem is that try rendering you pictures in steps. Starting the rendering on the darkest darks first and do this all over your picture instead of rendering one spot all the way finished and then slowly moving on to different areas. After you've done rendering the darkest dark move onto the next shade. This is how Bargue drawings are rendered and which probably helps the image to look more realistic. Hope this helps.

I predict that for you to improve you are going to need to spend drawing from life instead of just copying photos. But maybe I am the only one who feels this way...but I doubt it.

    Good luck!
