    Talking Bob's Yer Uncle!

Aside from just being lax, I'm waiting on these contest results for the Uplift Challenge. Of course, if you haven't seen the video slash promo slash trailer slash...GO SEE IT YA!

Otherwise I'm working on 3D design from a recent scribble. It sort of reminds me of someone I know. Of course, the person will probably never know that they became an invinceble mech droid from the deep. But you never know!

    Cool Kickboom!

Hey Lateman, nice`to see your face. OK, i'll post a few studies that I've done for my animation.

It's best that you come up with a method that works best for you in the long run. The stuff I'll post may be older and I'm thinking my methods may be different now as I have different visual needs.

Honestly haven't been doing a lot of studies as a lot of the people on this site are doing. I'm focusing on other technical things that don't neccesarily involve drawing but you can check out my beginnings in attempting to animate while keeping my anatomy going just from imagination on one of my characters...

    Lightbulb

As per your request I'll be posting some sketches and studies; for animation of course!

I don't know how far I'll go with this as I have a lot of sketchbooks. Some good some bad. I dunno, you don't usually post old bad sketches unless you are looking for critiques to make them better. I usually just move on, unless I'm trying to get a character right...

Hey, how are you? Thanks for always dropping by at my SB. You have improve alot. One problem for me is that sometimes there is no consistencies.
Because some of your work is at a very good standard but some is not. Maybe you did not spend as much time at all of them.

Great work, keep posting. Wanna see more !

Good of you to drop by! If you have something you would like to see I can throw that up as Lateman has done. I posting some older organic type sketchbook pages. Been low on memory for a long time so no big projects. I'll try to keep the quality the best I can!

    Post Heavy Metal

Doing some submission stuff for Heavy Metal. Working on a concept character design based on a poster pre-release. The character is traditional while the laser is 3D. Broke my dongle tho, so that's why the image is checkered a bit.

    Cool Dolemite vs. the Shaolin

I made these sketches from a funny movie called Dolemite vs the Shaolin a while ago. I used 3 minute time increments, mostly because the DVD would only pause for about that long. This was before animation school, and I was trying to train my eye to see different poses and draw them quickly while maintaining the flow and feel of the motion. Just watch these Tiger moves...he he.

    Exclamation Bedward

Stayed up late last night past bedtime experimenting with Freehand for animation and watching old 1930's gangster films. It's really great but has some major glitches. These are some keyframes from an animation I'm working on. Trial edition ends in 2 days...

Thanks for the stopping by. I'll definitely ask for your help if i have any problems in animation

    Angry Going Postal!!!

Seems that you can't animate groups of blends in Illustrator. On top of that, there is only one page in the vastness of the infinite zoombafu which is Illustrator. LISTEN ALLE YALL!!!

Freehand will do this but has some blend proximity issues. If anyone from Adobe is listening, GET A CLUE!

Pix-Hey thanks Pix, hope you will be stopping by often as I admire your work!

Yin-yes I got you message, too bad I guess. The last drawing was made in Illustrator as I was trying out blending.

Lateman-aside from the Metal character sheet I have been posting older stuff as you had requested earlier. I will post even more figure drawing soon!

    Icon Anime Figure Drawings:MALE

I've tranlates a bunch of anime drawing from popular series into figure drawing. As you would expect some work better than others, and some are completely unfounded in reality. I'll put those up LAST. It's kind of useless to post a lot of disney figure drawing of say Cinderella, as they are continously moving and don't have a nomenclature of poses like anime does. You may recognize a few of the figures from your favorite series!

A little more variation in your lines couldn't hurt. I notice that many of your pencil drawings (mostly the mechs) have the same line-thickness all around. That flattens the image out, plus the design tends to get lost.

I enjoy your animations. Keep posting.

Thanks Ex, I think your right about that, I'm more of a sketcher painter
than an inker. That's why I have problems sometimes. I will hopefully
be able to work in some vector programs to correct this problem.

    Post Anime Figure Drawings:Female

For the second installment of the figure drawings series of course will be the female side of things. Personally I think the anime females are more expressive than the males and have a lot of action! With translating them into figure drawings you really have to use your imagination sometimes as a lot of very important curves are sometimes obscured or distorted. You may notice that there are different maturity levels within even in kids shows which makes anime attractive to all ages of animation fans. The same rules apply in terms of figures that didn't meet with the standards of traditional anatomy.

Hey a mad flurry of stuff and hard work!! the studies are getting good and good for you doing them!! the action is your best work - when someone is in action, you are really inspiring me to do more studies!! The submission for heavy metal needs some work, the middle figure looks goos the one on the left looks very thick in the neck area. just slim her neck down a bit. I like the gun! and keep going on these radical diverse studies!! Wow what progress here!!

    Cool Animating Dragons:Adult Content...:)

    Thanks Zulu, really app reciate your face here as you are a cool persona and make really neat drawings as well, trying different things all the time trying to expand your range;

Well Kelly, what can I say...been tied up a lot lately, more recently than lately with issues beyond my control. So hastily but whole heartedly I've posted this update. I'm trying to animate some more with vectors. These dragons are my latest victims in this regard. I'm not a big dragon person, they always seem to sneak into my sketches when I'm wanting to do a mecha droid destructor cyber being. Or one of my one horned for eyed flying purple people eaters.

    Oh well! Enjoy!
