I am finally staring to get into more digital slowly but surely, first one is one of my usual except i am getting faster and starting to understand the process better, second is a quick color study from a painting i admired, last one is a just a but of practice sketching in photoshop and then an attempt to start painting it, I think i did ok on the leg considering there was no reference it was an easy perspective thou.

Your hard work is paying off mate! The values are still hurting the drawing. Try to use less of the side of your pencil or whatever you're drawing with. Think in big forms first and ignore all surface detail. See your big forms as simple cubes and decide which side is in the light and wich side is in the shadow. Once you have a solid form rendered you can start thinking about the surface details. Also remember that you are always drawing solid 3d objects. Pay careful attention to the placement of your forms in perspective. If you get lazy and do it wrong it will flatten your drawing. I still make that mistake from time to time. Again, take it easy on your lines. You still seem to be in a rush. Take your time to make long lines that are pleasing to the eye. I'll drop back in soon.

Fantasyartist: cheers dude wish it would pay off faster dammit but i only have myself to blame, I have realized over the past few weeks that my perspective knowledge is far weaker than i thought it was and am currently trying to remedy this by drawing cars and buildings and so forth i haven't posted any of them yet because I am embarrassed by the quality it seems as soon as i don't hit the sweet spot with a freehand line i loss all confidence and even if i started great i just end up giving up, oh well recognizing my problems is the first step to overcoming them.

I will get some cars and buildings up here this weekend as I have 3 days off work so lots of drawing time Sweet!! and you were also correct with the rushing thing, most of the drawings i post here I begin with no idea of what intend too draw so i throw down some random lines until i read something i want pull out, I just have to start lighter and slow myself down once i know what i want to draw, most of the time i get really excited with an idea and trash what ever is already there trying to suggest something i don't know how to draw especially in regards with clothes.

Anyway thanks for coming by with a critique its been a while since anyone hit me with one so it was very welcome cheers.

Here is some sketches and some fun weapon silhouettes they probably would of turned out better if had a goal on what type of weapon i wanted to make anyway it was my first attempt and enjoyable too. Didn't get much time to do much else other than a 30 mins on pose maniacs but i wont post that crap .
