keep up the hard work, someting that really sticks out to me however is how inconsistent your work seems to be? some (well, paintings like this http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1228079766 ) are staggeringly good

whereas ur pencil work is comparatively weak, ur digital painting even moreso. u also have an abundance of sketches but no finished (or even nearly finished) work. i think it would really help you out if u spent much longer on some pieces, exhausting the possibilities of a drawing before moving on. u are starting to develop a sense for light and shadow which is crucial for describing form... dont be afraid to push in some darker darks. i have the same problem...but it can make a world of difference. adding in some pitch black shades can really make shit pop out.

keep workin, ur covering a nice range of mediums etc...its healthy! peace

ImaGEEnation: Thanks mate, appreciate it =)

sleep:Yes I agree with you Inconsistent is the word I would use to sum up my entire experience with art thus far but i am not unaware of it and and i know of the separate causes and slowly overcoming them one of the worst is i do allot of art work at work where i am interrupted every min which causes me to lose concentration very often and get frustrated and that has carried over to when I work at home =(, but i will be out of this job very soon and for good.

Thanks for your other suggestions I am always trying to push the values but its hard to tell if I am succeeding or not and taking a sketch to something finished is my most important goal I am entirely sure why I struggle some much with achieving this i seem to operate better under pressure as you said those painting i did where under a short deadline for a portfolio for school which seemed to push me harder then i usually push myself.Anyway thanks for your opinion its helpful too see which weakness i have to focus on.

    Jolly Ye: Thanks !

Sleep: O one other thing those paintings were referenced like over 90% of my work here is not referenced at all. I really need to work a system out like get the camera out after i have stared a sketch or something..

OmertA: Thanks I appreciate you taking the time to look =).

Got manley's and zhanglu's vid and had a quick go using there suggestions its from memory i wasn't referencing but was thinking about it the one zhanglu did in the vid, proportions and placement are way off so i have to concentrate on those things more before i start rendering.
