Hi I'm new here and I'm uploading my sketchbook.
I'd like to hear your opinions about my drawings so that i know what to improve. Thanks all my other drawings still need to be resized. Some of my drawings are also fanart I hope it's ok to draw once and a while from your favourite game or manga I'm not claming the copyright.

Well, i see a lot of good stuff here, i like your studies but it seems you have some trouble keeping symetric proportions, still your style is cool and there is great potential here, anatomy studies are always good, but in your case i would recomend mirroring drawings, trying to do the same drawing, right next to the original, but facing the opposite direction, so that you improve your sense of simetry. Keep it coming!

Very nice works here. Your doing great on those studies. There's some flatness here and there though. Pay carefull attention to your construction. Always find the top/bottom and sides of a form and look how these planes are oriented in perspective. Also study the eyes more carefully, they too have a front and a side. In your drawings you really flatten them out. Remeber that it's a sphere and the lids wrap around it. The lids also have thickness to them so when drawing the eye from the side this thickness should be made evident.
I hope you can get something out of this. Keep up the hard work!!

Ok I'll try to study the eyes when I finished I'll show you to them. I will look at a real eye maybe that helps and will help improve it!

after looking at the work i'm really impressed with the breadth of subject material you've got up here, its fantastic to have that range to pull from when you're making a picture, my only advice'd be for intents and purposes of learning - you may want to ween away from anime/manga for a while, and focus on studying from master paintings/drawings. i saw the word flat tossed around once or twice on this thread and i think that [anime] may be part of that because of the flat tonal rendering or screentoned shading in anime/manga, i say this cuz i think it's such a STRONG style it has a tendancy overpower your work when you're looking at it a lot (i speak from experience) but looking into some master work and as it's been said to death, practice practice, i think based on the scope of work you have here, the more you draw, the more you're going to just see yourself improve exponentially.

Very good work, I'd like to see more.
Three things I can tell you, numer one is: If possible try that old excercise of drawing lots and lots of boxes in perspective (no grid needed, except just to check that you're doing it fine). Remember that every single thing that you draw can be decomposed into simpler shapes that you can use as guidelines for your drawing.
-Second thing (and this you seem to have done it wonderfull so far) is: try to apply everything you learn to the drawings that you make for pleasure. I mean, usually one divide his work in two: pleasure and learning, try to brake the barrier between this two.
-Third thing (a very important rule): Try to draw most of the time what you don't know how to draw. It's very common for example to draw the head from the side or from the front, If possible, try insted to draw it from above, or below. The same goes with everything, as soon as you get confortable drawing something, and you think that you sort of have mastered it then move into something that you haven't. This way you'll keep improving and your evolution will be very fast.
Remember that it's more about improving fast than about being good at the beginning of the race.

Hi I was going to a friend of mine in Antwerp to study traditional art and I like it I'm gonna try to do some paintings it's so much fun! I made some new drawings ,the fantasy art that I drew this time is for fun but the other ones are for learning purposes.

You have a lot of unusual figure studies here and they look very nice. I hope that pays off. I cannot fault your accuracy. It might be confusing to compose all of the technique into a figure.

Your individual studies of facial features look pretty good, but it seems that when it comes time to incorporate them into a total composed face, their is a lack of cohesiveness. It looks like the separate parts are just kind of floating a little. My advice would be to focus on the volume of a face in head studies and don't get wrapped up in the details of the individual features until you have their placement and depth secured.

Thanks guys I'll keep that in mind. I'm studying fashion design but it's not the same as fantasy art and drawing from life. It's helpful for me to develop some technique I learn how I have to start drawing an eye and different perspective but It's not the same like in reality. So after fashion design when I feel a bit confident I try to draw a lot from life. Once and a while I study anatomy by myself , to try to understand how a body works. I try to do all this because I get bored after a while. I try different styles cause I don't know my own style yet! I have trouble focusing on one thing , cause sometimes if I'm too busy with fashion design or drawing from life. I don't see progress. I hope it's ok to do that once in a while. Otherwise if you find that I have to focus on one thing only ,than let me know if I'm wrong. I'm here to learn.
