Hi guys,

I'm very new here and I want to start my posts on CA with this topic...later I'll participate in the daily sketch group and other topics.

There are a few of my sketches:

good start so far what i and pretty much everyone else on ca will say is that practice anatomy day and night every day and night. then build upon that

yeah...practise is fun and without nothing will change

ok...15min doodle of a pose, I found in the internet.... Want to practise human body and so on

I was a long time down...not really active in soooo many forums... I hadn't time to have a look, but now, I found a nice job and I can relax a little...
So I try to come back to the communities, I was before.

There are Eglifilets in Strudelteig auf Kefengemüse...
Erm in english...Eglifilet (filet of a fish from Switzerland) in strudel dough on sugar snaps vegetable.

First of all do all kind of studies, if you really want to improv ethey are a must!

As for digi's itself some advices from me. Use Hard round brush with other dyynamics set to pen pressure ( for photoshop) keep flow and opacity sliders at 100%. Control it with your grip pen.

Use large brushes, simplify, don't draw thousands of hair strands make it a mass and present strands in focal areas.

That's it for now, keep on working and it will pay off!

Wow, last visit was 2009 O_o
Ok, the start of my new life in the last three years was crazy... a lot to do and less time to train skills. But there will be a change soon and I'm working hard (if there ist time) to improve my art. Just doing commissions, doodling all the freetime... Starting a new life in Switzerland was hard, now there will be fun (I hope so)

Loving the studies.
If you could though, would definitely love to see some values in these. Your ability to work with line is apparent and I think it is time to branch to some value studies.

^ What Tagachi said. You've got some good work here, but I think your skill with value needs a little focus. Pay attention to the value ranges in your work; maybe do some master studies.

Still, not bad at all. Keep it up!

I'm trying At the moment, I have much more time to work on outlines...but I'm trying to train values and colors and co, too... (I can scribble lines in the break at work... but after coming home, I'm often too dead to draw or paint ... Its really bad and I hope this will change soon...
At the moment, I'm training my skills with projects...all my rest of time every day flows into these projects.

There is one of these: ...Project "Drachenzwinge" Webpage---Bannerdesign....a lot of work to do...
Wanna change the medieval part a lot ...something with tents and so on >.> And the bridge between old time and future is missing at this stage...
