    Hey!

You are amazing with the animals. I'm really impressed. I especially like your paintings. Very lively!

You seem to be getting better in general anatomy too, but just in case, I'd work on it a little more. Try to get out of the Manga/Anime style even for just a day, and try some realism/still life. I'd really like to see some from you.

    Keep on drawing!

whoaw, you improved a lot over the sketchbook!
You have a good feeling for color and I like your lines :3

One point where you could improve easily are faces: at the moment your faces often lean to one side/are distorted and the features float on the face instead of being 3dimensional objects on a 3d plane.
You can improve this by drawing portraits (from life is better than from photos) and by reading Loomi's drawing the head and hands which is freely available online
I just took a break to post this.
But sometimes I also draw stuff

I'm really relieved to see you doing life studies! I started out with manga when I was your age (and younger) and today I definately regret it. It really put me five paces behind and made progress alot slower than if I had just drawn from life/reference.

I've seen some great improvement in your work! The animal drawings you do are really good, I myself have never gotten the hang of drawing animals

    Keep going!

    Thank you skapanorn
I think i just got tired of drawing manga, i was never really satisfied with my pictures... and looking how good someone draws made me more sad than i already was,and i knew what to do to get to the level that those artists are i admire.

I started drawing when i was just a little child. I was fond of animals (still am)... and tried to draw them from books... or my own cat ...

    Hi Cätlyn

You are very talented for such a young age. I can see you have a gift and wanted to say don't squander it. Continue refineing your technique and going to art classes and learning all you can, you could find a a job in many industries with some formal training once grade school is complete because you clearly have an eye for art.

That said, don't stop practicing and keep posting here!

    cheers,

    Z

I didn't check to see if anyone else mentioned this already or not so bear with me, but I have some tips for your shading. Add in the compliment of whatever color (say you are using a reddish brown.. you would add it's compliment: a bluish color) but darken and desaturate it a bit. It just looks more realistic and gives more depth and interest.

To keep your anatomy in line (literally!) try lining things up with a ruler. For example, if drawing from a model or a picture, hold up your pencil and see how things line up along it, then make sure they line up that way in your drawing too. Do it horizontally and vertically. If you get in the habit, it helps. I'm working on that myself

    Nice stuff so far though~
