Thanks everyone! Yeah, good to be back!

Here is the process I took for the mogu piece.

Started with some rough line work..really rough. Then a color study, just defining the big color hits of the painting. Then I blocked in those colors pretty flat, with more of a concentration on the value I wanted there. And then turning the form and thinking about the lighting after that. I might be buying a cintiq soon hopefully, and then I will start streaming painting....(and some league of legends probably, cause i have become addicted to that game) so anyone can see my process and all that jazz.

Anyway, thanks for all the positive energy guys, and hope to help out anyone I can, while getting better at art myself.

Hey Everyone,

Did a little more work on this sketch. starting to detail out some things and such, i dont know what the deal is with it, but its fun to practice boobs and armor.

Anyway, thanks for the kind words, and yeah, im working on getting a cintiq right now, and hopefully streaming within a couple of months.

Thedirty- lol, we're all newbs man. dont feel discouraged man. anyone can do art, as long as they put their mind to it, and time.

aww sweet! i love the whole monkey king mythos. if you get the chance, try to find a manga called "Journey to the West" by Katsuya Terada. he wrote, penciled, and painted every single panel, and it is glorious. your version is awesome too man! i cant wait until i can bang out stuff like this in a day. . . one day. . . but keep posting stuff dude! really im such a fan of your work!
