Cool look to those drawingswould be cool if you tried accenting one part of the image with a darker flat tone, like the hair or something.

Sketchbook!
Thanks! I'll try that next time![]()
Wow! Some really interesting work in here and a lot of impressive studies (love the crow!). Your etchy shading style is great, has a good energy!
Today I babysat (yeah, she is something like a big kid) my sisters dog and after walking her, I decided to make some A3 pencil and black pastel studies of her. And damn, she didn't make it easy for me, never sitting still for longer than 2 seconds... But, I normally don't draw dogs very often, so it was quite a refreshing experience
Cheers,
Tom
Here is an A3 study of Puck the dog, with soft pastels. Whoah, color!![]()
Hey there! Here's a graphic design assignment which I made for a friends friend, a musical event called "Beat your After Dinner Dip". I had to make one poster and also make it ready for a flyer format.
It had to have that 50's advert feeling to it, and man, 50's ads can be weird to say the least. Weird fonts, placements, and outrageous designs in general.
As you can see, I made some quick sketches (I only had two days to make these) and along the way I improved them a lot. Also, I enforced the 50's style on them (the hairdo of both characters, the glasses, clothing etc.).
I made the lines in Illustrator because these characters have to be blown up to big print sizes. The rest I did in Photoshop.
Cheers!
Tom
Hallo, mooie werken heb je hier! (Vanaf hier doe ik verder in het Engels, aangezien dit geen Nl/Be forum is :p)
I love the dogs, you got those muscles damn right! And Puck looks adorableMay I ask what you used to make the lineart for the 2 advertisements? Adobe Illustrator maybe? Keep up the good work, would love to see more more more

Hahaha dank je wel, man, no worries! Yes, I used Illustrator, mostly because of the flexibility. The textures and colors is all Photoshop. And yes, updates are on the way!
Wow, the end result turned out fantastic! Very clean, and pretty interesting design.
I'd suggest, as you already seem to know, work more with color!! The last few images looked great, and just keep up those studies.
cheers
