Ya , haha , i changed my nickname into my real name , like it better that way.

Ha ha , been looking at those boards for some minutes now , and i am still wondering what they are saying , love comics , love them even more when they have now words added , it's like you start creating your own story )

Your moleskine sketches are fun , i see you really have a thing for bears like i have for monkeys

Wow, this sketchbook is just ballooning. Last I checked it was on page 35, and it's only been about a month or so. You're a phenomenon. I'd love to buy your book if I can. Is it possible online?

    Hey
My point was that you have such great style, but style can be taught out of you. Style and academic aspects of drawing aren't always easily compatible. However, some people, like Bill Peet, pull it off. His illustrations are so deceptively simple you have to sit and stare them down before you realise how sophisticated they are. Your T-Wolf Monkey actually reminds me of some of his stuff. Do a google image search on "Whingdingdilly" and you'll see what I mean.

Do you have a goal with your work, where you want to take it?

    (Nice update!)

Victor B : Heey i'm glad you like it Victor Hope you'll like the new one even more ^^

    *makus : Haaa thank you : )

Vorace : Wéé high five de loups garous !

Giorge : Yeah i remembered your avatar! Hehe nice to know that you imagined a story And bears are so cooool :]

Hannes : Wooh it's been a long time, always a pleasure my dear :3

    Sony : Hehe cheers !

Bagg : Thank you kindly ^^

Bhaaanu : I'm so happy you like it Option 2?

Kelly : Yaaay thank you Kelly ! I'm not really a saint though

Wasker : Oooh great ! Thanks thanks thanks !!

    Slobosaurus : Cheers :p

TASmith : Haa yeah but it's only thanks to all the comments huhu, there is not a lot of artworks since page 35 About the book, here is the web site of the editor : http://www.petitapetit.fr/maison-edi...ein-d-oeil.php It's in French, and the book is not online yet, but i'll try to remember to send you a direct link when it will be ok Thanks a lot Arthur !

Extollere : Haa thank you, huuh text? I'll try to translate it and make it fit to the bubbles! It's just about a child who can't sleep and her mummy tells the story of a farmer who became rich and bought a huge herd. One day he brings his sheeps to the lands but he can't open the fense. Then one of the sheeps jumps upon the fense and all the others follow him, and the little girl just has to count the little sheeps, and she falls asleep.

Thomasback : Ho ok, i'm not sure to get you about style that can be taught out of people, but i see what you mean when you used Bill Peet exemple, this creature was fun btw. Tho i don't really see where it's academic as you said in the previous sentence, but i think i've been missing something About goals, well.... the most important one is that i'd like to enjoy doing it again and again, i guess that i would do something else if one day i'd realize that i have no pleasure anymore to draw and tell stories... More precise and less cheezy, i'd like to work more often in illustration and to be able to make my own books in the other side.

Sketch : Hehe you moleskin fetish I hope everything is fine for you

    Koppa : Hhaahaha 8)

Lefran : Hey you're welcome! Thanks, i'm glad you like it

    Another update woooh !
I had the authorization to show what i'm currently working on, it's another short comics for children and teens. This time the scenario is from Thierry Lamy, and it will be released is a book called "Celtic tales in comics", in french again. (copyright Petit à Petit 2009)

how fun, so you draw children's books for a living? and how did you end up getting into that? did someone find you and hire you, or are you just a freelance artist? uhm. do you have to have a degree to become an illustrator?

--love your art style by the way, how you put small details in there like the little wrinkles on cloths. very cool. i sorta do that too.

Yes! Man, I've tried doing comics once before, and it can be really difficult to work everything out. So I really respect what you're pulling off here. Swell job directing your frames! The lines are full of energy and character, and the coloring is just grand.

I think you misunderstood so guess I didn't explain it very well. It's not important.
