I seem to have a problem, whenever I want to draw, i cant get any
inspiration. But when I do want to draw, its like 1:00AM on Saturday night
after im done playing video games...
I dont get it
Does anyone else have this "problem?"

it is because you get hyped up by the video games....seek inspiration elswhere during the day i would suggest.

i always prefer drawing late at night.

I like the fact that no one is awake and won't distract me. That's just preferable drawing time though. Trying to draw so late will only keep you up longer and keep you from all the kick ass shit that goes on during the daylight hours.

Sometimes thinking about drawing keeps you from the drawing process itself. Your brain doesn't want you to do it most of the time so you have to force yourself at first, but afterwards you get positive emotions as a reward. The most difficult thing can just be sitting down with a pen+paper/in front of your PC+tablet.

I also get my best ideas at night, it's often I work all day, then get up around 3-4 AM to revamp everything and start over because an idea decides to whack me over the head and I can't sleep.

Inpiration or not. Just sit down a layout your concept, doodle till you get your inpiration back! All you need is discipline.

basically you go into a dreamlike state late at night your more relaxed you are nothing thinking too much about what you want to draw, so inspiration comes more easily.

I would suggest do a few sketches of the ideas you get late at night then work on them during the day.

well one thing with this is that i can only really get
drawing time on the weekends due to school, church, family, etc...
which sucks for me, an artist who loves to draw... hehe

I get the same problem too, but I end up drawing into the early hours anyway. Try skipping something less important to make time for practice - I dunno, like church?
