I feel that you have some good experimentation with renderings. You may want to have a clearer ideas of the shapes in perspective in the underdrawing to strengthen your figures though - the first image looks kindof flat.

Your stuff is good but to get better you'll really need to dig into some anatomy studies. I'd say forget digital work for the moment and just refine your knowledge of the human body - Bridgeman should work well - and then when you come back to it you'll be just that much more accomplished. Good stuff - I look forward to seeing how you progress.

Thanks for the comment, exquisite beast. Yeah, I should do some anatomy studies but I got busy lately with some school stuff. I think I will do some studies later.

well your off to a good start but first off focus on anatomy, perspective, proportions, and just getting the overall shape of the character down before moving into coloring it. i'd suggest taking some life drawing classes at your school or a local school that has them. and also get some anatomy reference books like brigman's or loomis. right now your main concern should be anatomy because once you get the hang of that all your drawings will get better from it, from the way the form is put together to the way it is balanced and getting a better knowledge of anatomy will also help you with the final rendering, if you put emphasis on this your illustrations will stand out more, appear less flat and look way more defined. even though your drawings have a very animated look to them semi-cartoony, it doesn't hurt to study anatomy because you should learn the proper human form before trying to exaggerate it. keep practicing and keep posting.

Hey, thanks, thesadpencil. I did life drawing stuff like last year in school. I understand I should do life drawing like at least once per week. There's one drop in life drawing class running on every Monday night at school but at that night I have the class so I can't go. I do sketch from real life on every weekends whenever I go out. Yeah, man, I really like to have my characters look exaggerated. Thanks for the suggestion.
I did some anatomy today as I had time.

nice updates. i wanna see you push your darks/lights a lot more though because right now your digi paintings are appearing kind of flat. and the added contrast would really help them to stand out more. keep it up.

Hey there! Your lifedrawings are coming along nicely. You have some very dynamic lines here and there. Sometimes they have a cartoony feel, a bit exaggerated, which works most of the time but sometimes it gets a little out of hand and the anatomy goes wonky. But good job still, I have yet to try lifedrawing, seems like good practice. Also some advice on your digital colours: don't use so much black/greys! It makes your pictures all muddy and you don't want that. Try dark blues or purples for your darkest shadows instead (depending on the surface colour of course!)

Thanks for the advice, yngling. Yeah, I m still learning about painting yet ur advice is much appreciated.
Here's some life drawing I did last night at Toronto School of Art. All I can say is she's a very lazy model, like she did standing poses only for 1mins gestures and then the rest like 10 mins or 15 mins, she's sitting and sleeping. lol.
