Post #179 is a huge improvement and a big step. Now go draw from life some more. And next time you do something from your imagination picture what you learned from the life drawing. And maybe even see if you can push it to a higher level of finish. Maybe refine those imagination drawings a bit. And don't be afraid to check some reference for them as you go if you aren't sure how to refine a certain area. Anyway, keep drawing. It's looking good.
"This planet has - or rather had - a problem, which was this: most of the people on it were unhappy for pretty much of the time. Many solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the movements of small green pieces of paper, which is odd because on the whole it wasn't the small green pieces of paper that were unhappy." -Douglas Adams

Haha , some of your work is sick , specially the clown shearing the eye thingie ... get your lines more secure on the paper . Only when you will master the real form of the shape , then you can play with abstract forms

Thanks for stopping by my book man. I saw you asking about how to get your darkest darks darker. Try using a higher clay content pencil like a 4b or even a 6b. Then blend the dark and lighter darks together.

Your style is very developed, now you should try to move onto other challenges. You seem to have come close to mastering what you do, maybe you should try some digital painting, or even traditional color painting. Maybe some warped nature studies. Like paint a landscape from nature and add your own unique style to it.

Just my two cents. Keep it up man.

man!! your ideas are WICKED! really creative! nice drawings and clean. just a little thingy... ur shadows are a bit flat. i'm facing the same delimma, maybe thats why i'm pointing it out. its the dark-to-light and light-to-dark thing that gives them depth i suppose. gotta work on them my self. really nice work!

Alright, Friends and Foes of Conceptart.
I found this while I was digging around the depths of my dirty clothes and Old homework papers. Its a painting of my days of Depression, when i was in my hole. Down in the depths of hell inside the blood of evil and despair. I couldn't fight it or run away from it. All is good now though, i only tried to find peace elsewhere, but i finally understood that to find peace is to find peace within yourself. THen you will know true peace. You can fight many wars as you want to but you still aint going to achieve world peace. Heck i would rather find happiness instead. Alright enough Chit Chat of nonsense bullcrap, lets critique and comment some art work shall we?

This here is call My Darkest Hour. Please drop a line of your thoughts and a few words of your input on the peace. I'd like to start some kind of discussion if not at all possible. Cheeri0!

    Thanks! L0stinth0ughts.

    Alright Friends of Conceptart,
I have begun to think that i have fallen in love. So i wrote a poem and i want to share it with you guys. Please tell me what you think.

    Behind the silky crimson curtains
I wear a crying and laughing mask
Potion of Poison, Your sweet lips are
    A strawberry crescent smile
    Behind white Ivory teeth
I drink from this passions Flask
    A mouthful of tender desire
Echoes of your sweet melody voice
    My Angel playing her Lyre
I am an eagle, soaring west into the fiery sunset
Over the clear blue ocean, As I inhale the calm winds
Looking down at my rippled reflection
And like the sunset I love
To be forever lost in your sparkling Hazel vision...

    hey warforce,
thanks for the lovely compliement, and i said before each new feedback i get back, whether good or bad? i look forward to the good outcome and the experience.

    hello madfishmonger,
THanks alot for the Compliement, I dont try to do the best with my hand, but try to do best with my imagination. I also look at the expressions on peoples faces when i show them my real sketchbook. I dont look at the picture, i study their body language and their facial expression. also, when they ask a question about what i feel? i give them a definite honest answer and add a little story too it. I try to make it as interesting as possible. Keep coming at me, and ill show you how twisted and dark the rabbit hole really is...
