Hello All,
I think i should start of my properly introduce myself. My name is Pirmin and im native american. Im new to Conceptart.org and looking to be a good artist. I am 20 yrs old and have trouble trying to get motivation to draw. Somedays and nights i stare at the blank page trying to figure out what to draw. I try to put some emotion and feeling into the work i do, i try to tell stories that you make up when you view the images i draw. Also, the reason i join conceptart is to find help somewhere i know i can make a difference within myself. I would be very thankful if you would comment and critique some of my artwork. You can be as mean or as nice as you want. Hell you can tear up and go all out on me if that suits your habits. Haha Anyways, I have posted a few pages from my sketchbook and i should warn you ahead of time some of them are very disturbing as said by some of the people who scanned through my sketchbook before. so please enjoy!

nice really cool idea. i'm a big fan of the hand trees. maybe sharpen up some of scribbled lines and possibly add some color. great concept though. i'm a big fan of surrealist artwork. l

really like the drawing - only comment i would make - if your not going to colour it try variying the thickness of the lines, if you put a slightly thicker outline on something it can draw the eye to it, it took me a while before i noticed the feet but in the same sense i like being able to find things in a pic- good composition i wana see some more

your right, i knew something was wrong with it, i wonder if i should color it though, sometimes you know something is good. and when you color it, it tends to lose that thing that makes it a good piece.

Another Piece of a Bad Dream...
When the walls start shrinking and your all alone with no exit
Your life plays in slow frames, everything is come undone
like a string, a nitted fabric. it opens up and blackens everthing around it
frozen, motionless, and scared your have one thing on your mind "RUN!"
The air thickens in your lungs, clawwing at your throat u fight for air
eyes wide, teeth clenched, Your heart pounding against your ribcage
An invisible force holds u down, it pulls out each individual hair
the pain cracks your bones, tears rolled down, Turn the page
Drowning in a Cold sweat, you jump up, and clutch your chest
Breathing heavily, your eyes adjust to the darkness, Laid To Rest.

Thanks, i try to experiment on new things. Mainly messing with the picture to draw the attention on what is being said subliminally. I have some new work in my sketchbook ill post later, as soon as i get my bloody scanner working.

wow i like the updates. especially the one w/ the squid thing grabbing the person through the window and the giant eye looking in the door w/ the handcuffed guy. good stuff. all i can say is on your values try to accentuate all the darks/lights. because it will enhance the picture itself. also in a few images your hands look awkward do some hand studies to improve that, but other than that good stuff.

yea, thats what everyone keeps telling me, so i went out and bought a few graphing pencils, the darkest one i got is 6b, so ill touch up some of these photos and post them up soon enough. All of these are dont with a lead pencil, black paint, sharpy markers, and ofcourse the Q-tip lol
Oh thanks, the squid one is actually a bad dream i keep having, so id thought i try to show it through art. It basically speaks for it self, i think there is a poem upbove it, if not ill edit it and get some sleep. Keep the Comments coming

Welcome Home Sanitarium. (rough sketch)
I put a few twists and turns on this piece, its rather unusual but the whole twisting and turning stuff makes up for it. Its a rough sketch, ill touch it up later and post the final project. Keep the comments coming.

Nice work. Creepy, but nice haha. Keep it up! Sometimes when I can't think of anything to draw I just start doodling random objects or faces and I get inspired by a small doodle and turn it into something. Hope that helps a little? Keep it up!
