Thanks amn, i mainly use the plain round brush and just play with the settings, if that won't do it i tend to just make a new one on the spot.

another wip, i like to have a lot of these on the go at once so i don't get
bored O_O

I like your brushes and rendering technique. The almost-monochromatic palettes are good, but it would be cool to see a bit more subtle color variation in your pieces, and maybe a bigger range overall. Just a thought.

The use of color is cool, the last one really pops, tho; possibly because of the heavy contrast in the shadows and the light.

thanks mate, i'm trying to expand on that at the moment.
i've got a lot of weaknesses that i'm trying to tackle now instead of staying in my comfort zones so we'll see how it works out, small update one of my wips.

over the last few pages of your old book and especially over your last few posts you've shown your control over colour to be quite incredible, your character and environment design in themselves might not be the strongest but your colour management pushes them to the next level.
