I have an idea for a system where people can choose topics and not get accused of choosing one three weeks before and secretly working on their piece.

Okay, heres what I came up in choosing a topic for a duel:
This for the intermediate level where are 8 topics.
Both players pick a number between 1 to 4,
They then add those numbers and the total would be the
topic whose number corresponds to it.

Example:
Player A picks a number between 1 to 4 and he chooses 3,
Player B then chooses a number and he picks 1..
add the total, which is 4, therfore the duel will be about topic 4!

..not really foolproof but it livens things up a bit when choosing topics right?

btw..SwimmingBird, I currently do not have any loots or heads for you to take should you win our duel. But otherwise I am up to the challenge man!

Alti...what happens here, SwimmingBird and myself dont have any loot..does the winner of our duel get some loot?

jpc - the system you mentioned doesn't work because the last person to pick the number can calculate which topic he/she wants to a certain degree. just pick a topic on monday

jpc- i have a better solution to our topic idea
you bet on nasdaq if it is going to drop or raise. if you guess right, you pick the topic. if you guess wrong i pick the topic. so we base our guesses on monday's newspaper. you agree?

but i think its too much of a hassle, so just pick a topic will you?

thats why I like to create new characters every time. That helps with newness, plus you must include the other person's character, who will only reveal it to you the day of.
It doesnt work for topic 8, tho.... >.<

Don't get me wrong..I wasn't "concerned" about choosing topics..it was just a casual mention and I just tried to offer what i thought would be another way of choosing topics...anyway lets all continue with having fun and trying to improve our skills.

if both players dont have any loot or anything and duel, the guild awards loots to the winner and increases their rank, depending on the artwork of the looser and level of participation they will also receive rank.

i'm up for a duel this week.

actually, between the two of us we do more or less have it under control.

all I ask of you Head hunters is that you add to the title of your duel to Ready for judging when they are, and a date might help too. so that we can get to them in a timely fashion.

and dont make us waste our time judging stuff you didnt take time over to make as well as you can.

and be patient, cause we do them in batches.
